Eurania (긴궈, gingwo), officially the People's Republic of Eurania (긴화 린만네 간당궈, ginhwa rinman-ne gandangwo) is a country located in the East of the Western Isles. It is situated on southern half of the island of Mainland Eurania and and the island of Hazidu in the Euranias, a group of islands that lie off the coast of Gael, a large island in The Western Isles.

The nature of the territory of Eurania is varying. Most of the islands are flat with extensive low hilly cliffs. These islands either have low sandy shores or rocky cliffs, with the main island having extensive rocky beaches and tall oceanic cliffs. The Western Euranian Plateau, located in the west, is home to high-altitude forests and cities, including the capital. This is environment is similar reflected in the Euranian East. The center of Eurania is low and flat, and is where the vast majority of arable land is located. Sandy arid areas are located slightly north, with the largest lake in the country being slightly east.

Once one of the poorest countries in the region, Eurania today has become an industrial, modernized country, and it's export-driven economy is renowned for being a leader in industrial, technological, as well as in the resource industries.

Geography & Climate

The geography for Eurania is diverse despite the geographical restrictions of the island. The far west of Eurania is characterized by gentle rolling plains and minimal hills. This land itself is arable and quite fertile and is the breadbasket of the nation. While the land is arable and mostly flat, the western coastline is characterized by mostly rocky cliffs.
The colony of Western Eurania's eastern border is demarcated by the Chinia Mountains, running from north to south. The Chinia Mountains are the center of most resource industries, with mining operations being located in the region. The Chinia mountains are notorious for their tricky terrain and bad weather and also are the highest peaks in the nation. Moving west, the Chinia Mountains give way to a minor plateau before reaching flat altitude.

To the northern border of the country, the terrain changes drastically. The mountains give way to a high plateau known as the Central Euranian Plateau. Little amounts of land are arable there and it is sparsely populated, save for the few cities and the capital which lie in the region. The northernmost parts of the country that lie along the border all have steppe terrain.

The Northern Steppe of Outer Eurania

The climate of Eurania is also varied. Western Eurania and the Alsa colony are characterized as having oceanic climates with cool winter temperatures. The climate changes inland, however, with the Central Euranian Plateau exhibiting a hemiboreal climate and the Chinia Mountains exhibiting ice cap climates at a majority of peaks. The northern border region exhibits a near-subarctic climate.
