Security Council Resolution # 416
Commend G-Tech Corporation
A resolution to recognize outstanding contribution by a nation or region.
The Security Council,
Having long observed the progress of the corporate conglomerate known as the G-Tech Corporation, including its expansion from the international stage into the much more spectacular multiversal stage following its discovery of portals that enable access to innumerable other dimensions,
Believing that the time has come to recognize this corporate entity for its numerous and long lasting accomplishments,
Calling particular attention to G-Tech Corporation's various expeditions into the multiverse, including, but by absolutely no means limited to:
Their discovery of New Civilizations in a universe in which ageless beings with an inexplicable knowledge of future events were responsible for shaping the course of history. Of particular note is their detailed chronicling of the history of the Imperium of Man, ruled by the immortal Viktor Matveyev Nemtsov, whose exploits include the relentless and near fanatical domination of much of an entire continent.
Their involvement in the alternate universe known as the Forge of Empires, where they catalogued the deeds of the Mughal Empire and the Sultanate of Delhi, including their struggles against the Celestial Kingdom of Yindu and the various imperial powers which supported it.
The Misadventures of the Wicked Sir Winthrop Eddleton the Younger, known for being "OK at Necromancing" but being "[expletive removed] good" at Steampunk Machine manufacturing, and his creation of an unstoppable army of robotic Tree-based clockwork soldiers, his nuclear destruction of the capital city of Altamont, and his subsequent subjugation of Valormen to create a world free of Anarchy and Chaos. These events drew the ire of the omnipotent being Xanatos, Lord of the Dead City.
Recalling fondly the many enjoyable, best-selling turn-based strategy board games that have been marketed by the G-Tech Corporation, which have been lauded internationally for their rich and complex rule systems, such as:
The historical fantasy game series A Different World, including its many expansions such as Age of Darkness, where players can take control of such factions as the Brotherhood of Corvus or the Taiyang Dynasty, as they explore a world of magic and gather resources, construct settlements, and expand into new territories. The game received critical acclaim for its detailed and original worldbuilding, and went on to spawn numerous sequel expansions.
Mass Effect Factions, based on an incredibly popular science fiction series, where players, using their unique faction bonuses, can construct planetary facilities, purchase starships, and install upgrades, all with the aim to decide the fate of this fictional galaxy. The game was very well-received and brought joy to many of its players.
Homeworld, a cooperative survival game, where players take command of various spaceships and must work together to explore new areas, mine resources, and brave the procedurally generated threats to their ships' survival. The game was praised for its modular ship design and extensive technology progression tree, as well as for its difficulty and the tension created by its random encounters.
Acknowledging the G-Tech Corporation's involvement and leadership in the region of Ankh Mauta, one of the first regions to embrace portal exploration and once home to a vibrant community of multiversal nations, and that during a time of uncertainty following the disappearance of the region's founding nation, the G-Tech Corporation took charge to help preserve Ankh Mauta's legacy, in part by barring entry to the region to those without a password and the recommendation of nations within Ankh Mauta, in order to prevent incursions by roving bands of raiders,
Hereby Commends G-Tech Corporation.
