Etymology

History

The Wooloosian Confederation and Federalization Period (1731-1768)

something the wooloosians quickly adopted, just in time for the 1754 "Seven Years War", which would see the confederation not only obtain full control over the Dutch Colonies, through purchase and an agreement to help against the british, but also see them obtain al of the British colonies in north America on the east coast, the french having been, well beaten had to cede there non quebec colonies to the British, however, they gave the Confederation whatever remained and retreated from the Americas, immediately after this in 1755 the Confederaitonal Assembly would be called to begin the integration of these areas, as the country had grown from the areas of Maryland, Southern New Jerey, West Virginia, and Virginia. to all of the land from flordia to new england, and the Atlantic to the Missouri. this would set the stage for the 1760 "Federalization" of the Country. realizing that a federalized state could not only better defend itself then a loose confederation, but the task of administration would become far easier.

Now Federalized, all of the small confederated militas, which were already pretty elite were merged into one giant force, the "Wooloosian Army", this new nation would be known as the United Wooloosian Commonwealth, or the UWC. immediately realizing the threat that britian possed to it would immediately begin to use its french and dutch ties to begin the construction of a fully modern European nation, adopting, a new constitution, which laid out 13 articles, rights of the Commonwealths mostly, but also freedom of speech and militarism among other things. with now industrial aid flooding in, the nation began a rapid period of industrialization in 1768

Industrial and Expanison Period(1768-1830)

by 1785 these process had snowballed effect into the foundation of major cities doting the east coast, one of the most famous ones would be the new capital, Nova Wooloo, at that time simply called the "District of Wooloo" or the DOW, and of course, New York City, inherited from the british the city had largely grown under Wooloosian Control as thousands of natives flooded into the cities as industrial jobs became more influnencal, with this, English culture in the commonwealth across much of new england would be slowly chocked out. while Dutch and French were integrated, french and dutch settlers that would find themselves would lend there expertise to the government, during this time the Wooloosians would begin a race to the sea, or the pasfic with the British, something that would remain unresolved until later in 1830, however by the time of 1810 Wooloos had fully industrialized, from the combined efforts of the French, Dutch, and the Wooloosian People, a new bemoth had formed on the planet, one that now prideful of itself would seek to control its local area for its own defence. which led the country right into the Second Seven Years War

The Second Seven Years War and the Calm Period 1830-1914
Since 1820, the Colony of New Spain had well, been falling apart, the Spanish far overstreched for there own good were now dealing with constant native uprising, or even uprsigings form there own colonist. This had not been helled with the colony had unofficially invited Wooloosian Settlers into there north to deal with native resistance, and then were heavily surprised when the now majority Wooloosian North just up and left and joined the UWC, this put the colony in a state of war with the United Wooloosian Commonwealths, while it is commonly called the Spanish Wooloosian War, it was mostly really a conflict Between New Spain and the country, in the opening days would immediate Spanish gains as whatever colonial garisons they had were able to overwellem the mostly poorly equipped wooloosian breakaways, this would continue throughout 1831, these gains would halt as arriving Wooloosian Army Divisons managed to create a stable but under supplied line, across the atlantic ocean however, the Wooloosians would make use of there limited navy to engage in skirmishes with the Spanish. to keep them busy. During this time, the United Kingdom of Great Britian and Ireland, growing ever concerned about the fate of Canada now that The Woolooisans were after going European colonies decided to take immediate actions and opened a northern front

Something that called the French and the Dutch to immediately declare war on britian, the news of a British deleration of war would immediately shock the wooloosians who would enact the first draft in the nation's history, a briitsh blockade would be set up, something the Wooloosians for now had no way to beat, but the Wooloosians could beat the British somewhere else, in Canada, which is exactly what they moved to do. on the New Spanish fronts the Wooloosians would launch a counter attack aimed at reaching the rio grande and freeing up troops for a northern offensive, luckily because fo the draft measures, which so far had gone pretty well, there would be enough troops for an attack on the northern Canadian front, three general pushes were made, one across the st lawarnce rivrer, one across into the toranto penisula and finally one going for halifax, all were mildly successful. as the British and Spanish were tied up in Europe primarily,

by 1833 the wooloosians had managed to even pass the rio grande and secure the baj Californian penisula. along with recapture the sucessionist areas of the colonies, and began the slow march to Mexico city, the absolute defeat of the Spanish in the American Front of the war began to lead to massive revolts across there entire empire, and eventually, its complete collapse in 1834, once this had happened Wooloos moved quickly to secure the rest of Mexico, Cuba, and the Island of Hispanola. the remainder of the SSYW was spent mostly in a staring contest between, the British, French and Dutch, Wooloos couldn't break the blockade, and France and the Netherlands had no way to actually invade britian, but simitanisouly with the st lawarnce to dangerous for the British to actually supply Canada troops, they lacked the ability to actually supply Canada, However, the Wooloosians were facing fierce resistance from the now united Province of Canada. The war ended in 1837 with a stalemate the Wooloosians would manage to annex the Torotno Penisula, but were forced to withdraw form the rest of there occupied Canadian territories. Now having gained even more land, the Wooloosians would once again settle down and begin to work on integrating there new vast swaths of lands. but would be plagued be an almost endless Mexican, Cuban, Hatian and Domican resistance to there rule. however this would not be the end of limited expansion, in 1839 Wooloos would buy the Apolloian Colony of Alaska. which would be admitted as a territory shortly after. the Wooloosians now also had to figure out a way to connect there populas west coast cities, to there ones in the east,

the Answer would be the Wooloosian National Railway Agency or WNRA which would slowly begin the process of building a trans contiental railway. a project that wouldn't be complete until 1914. Another thing the WNRA would do is lead a coup against the Colombian Govemrnet controlled panama, and then annex the entirety of the country. and begin working on the process of building a canal there 1897, just like the European suez, this wouldn't be complete until 1910, another thing would begin the mass construction of Vessels, mostly pre battleship drednaughts once they have been created by the British. and also iornclads by the Prussians. the Country would send aid to there french allies, but would fail to help them in 1871 during the franco german wars, and this would be were Wooloos would find itself. in the July Crisis of 1914, were a dispute over the control of morrco escalated into a full scale conflict between the Briitsh, French, Germans, Austrians, Italians and Spanish. Or, The First World War.
