The People's Republic of Korbalis is a massive, efficient nation, ruled by President Karina Zelenska with a fair hand, and notable for its state-planned economy, pith helmet sales, and daily referendums. The compassionate, democratic population of 4.406 billion Korvalans are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whomever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

Glittering new sports stadiums adorn every city and town, pollution is on the rise along with government approvals of fracking projects, there's a lot of hot air coming from the Capitol Building, and it is popularly believed that "cheese every day keeps disaster away". Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Korbalis's national animal is the snow leopard, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.
