The government is spending billions of rubles on a fancy space probe to find a planet that may not even exist, rural soviets stare in awe at the bright lights of the big cities, workers have seized control of the economy, and people are bored of easy crossword puzzles. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Soviet Republics of the Soviet Union's national animal is the brown bear, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.
