State-owned companies are common. Average income is 95,293 yellopsian dollars, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Pitchforks and torches are coming back into fashion, crowds of flag-burning protesters tend to accidentally become crowds of burning protesters, the nation's politicians are known more for the internet memes they spawn than any of their accomplishments, and the blood, sweat, and tears of poor Yellopsians make research institutes rich. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Yellops's national animal is the cobra, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.
