The Dictatorship of Russo-bydliya is a very large, orderly nation, renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape, fear of technology, and enforced nudity. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 190 million Russo-bydliyans are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

The relatively small, corrupt, moralistic, well-organized government is primarily concerned with Defense, although Industry, Administration, and Law & Order are also considered important, while Welfare and Social Policy are ignored. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 9.5%.

The powerhouse Russo-bydliyan economy, worth 16.8 trillion palets a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with significant contributions from Uranium Mining, Automobile Manufacturing, and Retail. Black market activity is notable. Average income is 88,324 palets, but there is a large disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 353,299 per year while the poor average 14,830, a ratio of 23.8 to 1.

Local councils have to call in dump trucks to clear parks of dinosaur droppings, reddish-brown is the new black, chain-gangs are often seen toting barges and lifting bales, and anti-vaxxers claim that injected children are prone to psychotic breaks when they see the 'Queen of Diamonds' playing card. Crime is a major problem, possibly because it is difficult to make it through a day without breaking one of the country's many regulations. Russo-bydliya's national animal is the SLON, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.
