The tiny, corrupt, pro-business government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defense, and Industry. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Bombus. Income tax is unheard of.

The frighteningly efficient BillyBeean economy, worth an astonishing 16,586 trillion ergs a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Automobile Manufacturing, Uranium Mining, and Information Technology. Average income is an amazing 381,311 ergs, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 1,401,632 per year while the poor average 73,353, a ratio of 19.1 to 1.

The government has ordered a moratorium on referenda, after every storm there's an expensive government-funded rainbow, the name of the "Butcher of Bigtopia" adorns shirts across BillyBee, and young people avoid opening doors for the elderly with impunity. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force. BillyBee's national animal is the bumblebee, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its national religion is consumerism.
