Following the rousing speech by Tomas Cock, hundreds of thousands of citizens take to the streets demanding revolution. A large portion of the armed forces are sympathetic to his cause, their reasoning being that they are among the most elite fighting forces in Tidewater, yet they are cooped up until they get honorably discharged, while seeing millions of their own people get oppressed by foreign governments all day. These sympathies have built up like a powder keg, and on the fateful day of December 12th 1934, the flames of revolution ignited. Starting when a firefight broke out between a nationalist party member and a patrolling police officer, though it still is not clear who started it, more joined in and fighting between 12 police officers and 54 civilians broke out. This incident was extremely polarizing, with Nationalist party members calling it a massacre and police brutality, while others say that it was the nationalist party member who fired at the officer first, and the officer was acting in self-defense. Whatever the case was, the incident lead to more brutal clashes between civilians and the police in San Cark's biggest cities, which lead to the military being deployed to hopefully calm the situation down. What was supposed to be the solution only lead to more problems however, as many members of the military had sympathies for the Nationalist's cause that only grew the more time they spent around them. Soon, a young man by the name of Albert Smith, who enlisted in the army at age 22, defected to the nationalist cause and urging others to join. Hundreds of thousands had defected, nearly 48% of the entire army, as well as 76% of the navy and 32% of the airforce, seizing control of several of the Western islands before the government could respond. It had become blatantly obvious that the nation of San Cark faced civil war, however there was nothing civil about it.
Nationalist soldiers were well-received in the western isles, where a good chunk of the populace supported the movement, viewing the central government as weak and corrupt, but in the main island, and particularly in the city of Святой Kарк, they faced enough resistance to keep them at bay until the loyalist army could come. The loyalist army managed to kick the nationalists out of the eastern half of the nation, however in the west they were near-invincible due to their massive navy. There was one hope, however, as the walled city of Lucia, the historic capital of the old San Cark empire, located in the centermost island, managed to hold out against nationalist onslaught. A rapidly growing city, Lucia had it's own airport and a military outpost, allowing the civilians and soldiers of the city to continue receiving supply from the mainland via airlift, and provide air support against advancing nationalist forces. The city acted as a bunker, and as the final loyalist city on the island, and Tomas Cock knew that, which is why in the new Nationalist capital of Estwol, Cock and his generals were planning a massive assault on the city, which would, regardless of outcome, be a decisive battle of the war.

Fifty miles south of the gates of Lucia stood Tomas Cock, premier and commander-in-chief of the Nationalist army. In this day and age, it is rare for a nation's leader to lead his men into battle personally, hell it's a sight to see if even the general is willing to put himself in such a risk, however Cock was certain that he would achieve victory, and he would give a rousing speech to rally his men so as to prepare them for battle. "Men, you are here because you chose to be. You faced the punishment of death if you were caught deserting from Kinet's army, and yet you knew that joining this cause was worth the risk. A man can only fight as good as the country he is fighting for, which I am sure all of you know. We, I will be frank, are outnumbered. Our equipment is less than optimal compared to the Loyalists' state-of-the-art weapons, and day after day we face shortages. We do not have superiority in the air either, with most of the airforce choosing to stay loyal, and so you will most likely be facing heavy fire from all directions. Most of you will die, however the ones who do come out will be heroes. Heroes for looking death square in the face and spitting in it's very eyes. Heroes, for championing the cause of a strong San Cark, free from the corruption and brutality of Kinet's government. We are outnumbered, outmatched, and outgunned, however we will win this battle, our victory is certain, as although they may have more men than us, they may have more planes than us, they may have more guns than us, they will never break our spirit. Together, in union we will march on, through the artillery fire, through the blanket of enemy bombers that block out the sun, and we will continue our charge no matter what they throw at us, as even if they defeat us they will never defeat our cause. A man can only fight as good as the country he is fighting for, and i'd be damned if ours wasnt the best in the world. Tonight, we will make our stand,
we will charge head on, no matter the dangers, for if we do this we cannot lose. Their supply is plenty, so is their manpower, however their spirit is weak. They will surrender as the army is only as strong as the people it is meant to protect, and how will you protect a people if they dont want to be protected in the first place? So I say to you, my loyal troops, will we back down and submit to an enemy that outnumbers us? Will we get on our knees and beg to for mercy?" A loud and resounding "NO!" could be heard from the crowd. "We will continue on, and fight to the last breath! We will fight those vile sons-of-bitches until we can't fight anymore, and then we'll continue fighting still, for we won't stop until the battle's been won. We are Carks, standing strong and proud, and nobody can keep us down, no matter how hard they try, no matter how many men they throw at us, we will keep on fighting for a better tomorrow, for either San Cark will be a global power or San Cark will not be at all! Now get your bearings men, for tonight we attack."

In response to the Jordlanistani "election" , agents of the Vargothican Independence Front are sent by Sebastian of Hiedleber to assassinate Timothée Guinard and a large portion of his followers. To that end the VIF stores Phosgene gas underneath trash cans at the Site of the inauguration.

“I thank the Jordlanistani people for giving me a second chance at presidency and during this term, the vargothican terrorists will be no more!” Timothée bows on stage but before he can step down there is a faint smell of hay and a lot of people begin collapsing. The gas bell is sounded urging people to leave the area. Timothée is evacuated with top priority with civilians leaving the area. 244 people are confirmed to be dead so far with 500 hospitalised.

The Coming Storm

Various protests have begun to spring up all around the country, most of the protests revolve around anti-foreigner groups and various anti-fascist hoards of Germans. After seeing this, the Kaiser had called a meeting of the remaining three members of the Imperial Sovereignty. Seeing the further decreasing power of the Cholar Monarchy and the massive dislike for the monarchy in The Kingdom of Truxip, the Kaiser has decided that it would be best for The German Empire to leave the Imperial Sovereignty. After loosing much of it's strength with the loss of the German Empire, the Imperial Sovereignty was officially disbanded as the distance between the two remaining member states further increased. The Kaiser, however, has still decided to to turn the Puppet Kingdom of Moluccas into a Condominium Territory of the Cholar Empire and the Puppet of Aldonia will be shared between The Kingdom of Truxip, The German Empire and the Cholar Empire. The German Empire has still decided to maintain an alliance between the Cholar Empire, The German Empire and The Kingdom of Truxip while also maintaining a small garrison of 7k German Regulars in Truxip to maintain its monarchy. With all of the anti-foreigner riots and a civil war in San Cark, the Kaiser has decided to send large sections of the military to the remaining treaty ports owned by the Carks. It is unknown what the future of the Empire may be but with the military movements and disbanding of the Union, the Empire's future seems very militaristic and bleak... only time will decide.

Battle of Lucia
In the cover of the night, 30,000 Nationalist special forces, lead by Tomas Cock himself, sneak up to the walled city of Lucia. Silently, they begin to plant explosives in the walls to breech the defenses. An hour later, the explosives have been planted and the silence of the night is broken by the roaring of engines. The sky is lit up as hundreds of fighters, bombers and transport planes soar from the Nationalist base towards Lucia. Shortly after, the main force of 250,000 normal troops, accompanied by thousands upon thousands of artillery guns approach the city. The troops inside the city sound the alarms, but it is too late as the explosives go off and the defenses have been breeched. By now, the nationalist's airforce has arrived to the scene, bombing the Loyalist hangars and 5000 paratroopers descend upon the unprepared city, capturing strategic locations. The special forces, trained specifically for urban warfare, manage to conceal themselves in the city, slaughtering thousands of Loyalist troops while remaining in the shadows, some using gas weapons and flamethrowers, experimental but highly deadly tools of destruction. Amongst the chaos, the main force draws ever closer to the city, the sound of their boots echoing into the night. At this point, the city is alight with gunfire, with the Loyalists, while still on the back foot, mounting a courageous defense. They took to their machine gun nests and fortifications, however those were no match for their opponent's skill and cunning, bombing the forts to dust, and hurling hand grenades into the nests, rendering the Loyalists' defensive tactics ineffective. The battle would rage on for another two more hours, with the nationalists making slow but steady pushes, while the loyalists continue to mount their defense of the city. Millions of civilians panic, families are torn apart as even children get caught up in the crossfire. The walled city of Lucia would fall by daybreak, as the main force overwhelmed the defenders, who put up a valliant opposition. Two hundred and ten thousand soldiers and civilians would perish in this historic day, the most in San Cark history. The losses felt in this battle would forever leave it's mark on both armies, as these death figures are unlike anything ever seen before. The battle was a gruesome one, and the people of San Cark pray that there will never be one of the likes of this again.

One account from a housewife listed that she and her family were awoken by the sound of explosions and gunfire. She gathered her kids and hid in the basement, but her husband was nowhere to be found. Not wanting to risk the lives of her children, she went out to search for herself. She ended up wandering the streets, and almost became a victim of the crossfire, however she managed to get out unscathed. Her wandering around the sprawling metropolis led her to Saint Cark's General Hospital, or what was left of it anyways. She searched the ruins desperate to find her husband, but amidst the rubble of room 201, where his sister, who had typhoid fever, was staying, she found the dead corpse of her husband, a victim of the nationalist bombing raids. She realized, however, that she had no time to mourn, as she left her children essentially unattended in the middle of a warzone. Running as fast as her legs would take her, she quite nearly got caught in machine-gun fire, but she didn't care, for she was determined to find her children. When she finally reached home, she called out to her children but there was no response. "Maybe they just went to sleep" she thought, for she could not comprehend that fate would do her such an injustice as to brutally slaughter her entire family in one night, and so optimistic, she slowly walked into the basement. The place smelled faintly of bleach, and the repulsive odor only grew stronger the further she descended, and her vision was starting to cloud. She began to cough violently, and experienced spasms, however she kept going, determined to find her children. When she finally reached the bottom of the stairwell, she saw her children, Samuel and Katherine, lying on the ground, cold and dead. Upon seeing the grotesque sight, she passed out from the trauma, and her next memories were of her waking up in Lucia Medical, the only hospital that didn't get destroyed in the bombing raids. Her story struck a chord with the San Cark people, and tens of thousands have taken to the streets touting anti-war slogans. It has seemed that this civil war was indeed, all but civil, and the people have realized the harsh reality of warfare. Support for the war has plummeted in both sides, but by far effecting the Loyalists the most, with many already holding Nationalist sympathies. A rally was held in Святой Kарк comprising of 40,000 enraged men and women calling for an end to this bloodbath, and it seems like Kinet may just cave to this overwhelming pressure.

The Imperial Navy Research Department has designed a brand new Battleship. This ship is planned to be king of the seas with it's larger and more numerous guns alongwith its thicker armour. Today marks the day of the first Fascist Federal Council member, Talia Jimpliaka. Now while she is the only member who is fascist this is still bad because they are now gaining more and more power every day. While the other Federal Council members are hoping that they can limit the amount of fascists in the Council it may be hard with all the support and popularity they have gained in the past few years.
