Unlike Bhutan's cool name that means Land of Thunder Dragon, we still have no clue what it means.
Another reason why I say we should rename this country to Gorkha.

There was talk then of creating a Federal Kingdom with each of the three kingdoms,Wales, Canada, Newfoundland, Cape Colony, New Zealand and the Australian colonies all becoming states within the Federal Kingdom. Ah, the Federal Empire - it was at its closest in the 1890s I believe. Then WW1 happened, proving to be the final nail in the coffin.

We ultimately conceded due to the threat of having an EU entry vote veto'd by the uk. Thus, stay became the prevailing vote as we rely on the eu.
Then 2 seconds later Brexit occurred. Scots are not at all amused.

Trouble is with that, is that the same number of people (and same people for that matter) didn't vote for both elections - so it's tricky to actually evidence that reason for the rejection of the referendum.
The vagueness, however, plays into the hands of the politicians. For some reason, they're allow to make such claims (on both sides of the argument) and no one challenges or adequately refutes such bold, unverifiable claims. Ranges from Leave causing WW3 and a Russian invasion, to the 350m a week (though Boris upped that recently to over 400m ...)
