Cevlaia | I'd prefer if you didn't do that at the moment, it would stifle the purpose of the Cevil War. | |

The Holy Empire of Stata Pontificia | The Daily Pontificatrix April 28th, anno domina 2258 Archaeologist's Book Claiming that Prehistoric Europe was Egalitarian Goes Viral Juozapas Gimbutas, a 34-year old archaeologist from Vilnius, has recently published “The Civilization of the God”, a book in the nominally esoteric field of archaeology. In the book he argues that for much of prehistoric Europe, or “Old Europe”, as it is called within the book, societies were egalitarian, providing men and women equal rights, worshipping both male and female gods. He attempts to back this thesis by providing examples of figures, pots, and statuettes he claims represent male gods. He additionally claims that Old Europe was destroyed by nomadic, theocratic matriarchs from the steppes of the Ukraine, setting the stage for modern Europe in which women dominate. His work has surprisingly become exceedingly popular, a bestseller overnight, especially in the masculist community, which advocates for men's rights. The author himself has published many videos on popular short video platform TikCok. In one of them, he holds a rather crudely made figure of a human (with an oversized phallus) in his hands while dancing. The President of the Global Men's Society, Ding Shaoqi, has hailed the book as a “massive step towards finally reaching full equality for males in the country. Although male suffrage has been achieved, there is still systemic discrimination against men worldwide.” The ruling party in Parliament, the Conservative Catholic Party, has denounced the book as “baseless in its extraordinary claims; Gimbutas is trying to fit sqaures into circular holes to support his dangerous ideology of masculism.” The second-largest party in Parliament, the Social Democratic Party, commented, “This shows that our country, in regards to male rights, is less advanved than tribes 6,000 years ago.” Mother Rebecca IV, during a press conference after having celebrated Sunday Mass in St. Anna's Square, commented, “This book has raised interesting points, upon which I will meditate and pray to the Goddess for guidance.” Ad majorem deae gloriam! |
