Amendment Text that has passed the Assembly https://tspforums.xyz/thread-8494.html
I propose we repeal article 6.2 of the Election Act
In 2017 the Assembly repealed Article 5 regulating of Local Council Elections, however it missed this point in the following section of the Act.
Due to this oversight the High Court has struck down the portion of the Local Council passed game side election act dealing with vacancies in office. Repealing this section will allow the Local Council to again address the issue of LC vacancies in its own regulations.
6. Vacancies of Office
(1) A special election will be held for vacancies arising within the Cabinet, if more than half of the term remains. If less than half of the term remains, or the position is vacant due to nobody running in its election, the Cabinet may appoint a replacement until the next regularly scheduled election.
(2) A special election will be held for vacancies arising within the Local Council, if more than half of the term remains. If less than half of the term remains, or the position is vacant due to nobody running in its election, the Delegate may appoint a replacement until the next regularly scheduled election.
(3) (2) Should the office of Delegate become vacant, the next person in the line of succession will become interim Delegate until the next regularly scheduled election. If no person qualifies for the office, then a special election will be held.
Thanks for posting for me, not sure what Purple Hyacinth said to me because it was suppressed.... but I'm glad this one went through.

I can be as loud as an opera singer, although I'm not one. I rarely sing.

Land Reclamation in Tyulenistan Starting in 2005 Tyulenistan began the process of
land reclamation in the Caspian Sea. The first project that was completed was the expansion of the only international airport belonging to the tiny nation. The Soimonov International Airport's expansion began on, January 3, 2005, and was finished on November 23, 2005. Since than the Tyulenistani government has approved several land reclamation projects, and has incresed the size of the nation from 130km2 to about 208km².
Current or completed land reclamation projects are shown in red. Planned projects are shown in yellow.
In March of 2014 the
United Nations Environment Programme via the
UNEP, Regional Seas Programme released an environmental reporte entitled
"Sand, rarer than one thinks" . This study outlined, in detail, the dangers of land reclamation.
"Added to this are all the aggregates used in land reclamation, shoreline developments and road embankments (for which the global statistics are unavailable), plus the 180 million tonnes of sand used in industry. Hence a conservative estimate for the world consumption of aggregates may exceed 40 billion tonnes a year. This is twice the yearly amount of sediment carried by all of the rivers of the world, making humankind the largest of the planet’s transforming agent. Such high extraction has tremendous impacts on the environment." -UNEP As of today the Tyulenistani government still has not changed their position on the nation's land reclamation practices and policies - projects continue as scheduled. In response to the UNEP's report the Tyulenistani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry published a statement reaffirming their stance on protecting the Caspian sea and the environment.
