I know right? Or sometimes they give WAY too few options, like an issue about transportation and they only give TWO options. And both are on huge extremes.

My Civil Rights dropped from 80 to 75 recently. I don't even remember what issue I answered to make it drop so far, considering it wasn't significant enough to create a national policy. Made my Civil Rights fall from World Benchmark though. :/

Ironically, the issue I just had had this as an option-- honestly, I wouldn't stress about it. An issue will probably come up to fix it soon, especially if they consider the Internet half as essential as they apparently consider capitalism to be.

Is it just me or is it like pretty much any option I pick for issues, my welfare goes down incredibly arbitrarily? It makes no sense, why would requiring people get a license lower welfare?

Even the joke SC proposal that my friend submitted a while ago that didn't get enough approvals was better written than this one

My nation was initially socialist, but I had a really bad eco.

After around 1-2 months of boosting the economy through social democracy/capitalism, I've finally been able to re-transition to socialism and still keep a decent economy.

I had a similar strategy! I've played NS on and off for years and had lots of nations, so I know from experience that starting off socialist gives you a really bad economy, so I chose to start off capitalist and build up my economy, and then transition to socialism when my economy was already Strong. It fell to Good from there, if I recall correctly, but I've managed to get it back up to where it was and actually higher than it's ever been at the moment.

That's not quite true. It can be more difficult to have a good start and easier to crash your industries, but that depends on whether you know what you're doing. All my latest nations have easily attained booming socialist economies.
