ATTENTION EVERYONE
I just finished a map and a list of nations for a Scifi RP.

It spans a whole galaxy and only really dictates the major worlds and major nations, so you can pretty much add anything.

So at least 3 people want to join then I will start it.

I think I have figured out a legal argument and strategy I can use to circumvent GAR#4 "Restrictions On Child Labor", specifically Clause C, which states “Bans the participation of minors in armed conflict”.

Hypothetical, it is possible to get minors to participate in military activity so long as it is doesn’t evolve them in a armed conflict; so peacetime military activity is on the table. This opens up a wide arrange of military job opportunities for children to choose. That being said, here are some examples I found that comply with all the clauses.

  • Logistics Specialist: It’s just planning and organizing. Paper work has nothing harmful to it. It even helps to teach them planning skills for the future.

  • Reconnaissance Drone Operator: As long as the drone is lightweight and safe it should be fine. Most drones are kept small enough anyway.

  • Military Band Member: Schools already have band programs. Just send those band kids to play for our men in armor.

  • Military Cooks: Kids already do cooking with their parents. Just keep them from doing anything too dangerous and you’ll have enough co-chefs to help out everyone.

  • Military Janitor: Cleaning is about as simple as it gets. Just don’t let them accidentally inhale any dangerous mutant chemicals and we’ll be a-okay.

  • Minesweeper Robot Operator: Kids play with RC cars, this is essentially that only they’re a bit bigger. Of course, they will be kept in a safe location to kept them from the landmine explosions hurting them.

  • Military Supplies Transporter: They can help to move around light and medium weight supplies from place to place.

  • Sandbagging: Assuming the sandbags are kept light enough, children could transport sandbags to refortify an area.

All these jobs involve the minor working in a safe location, using safe machinery and equipment, with no aberrant safety hazards, and all the other pesky clauses I have to follow.

Counterpoint: Article Three WAGA Resolution #654 The Civil Charter of the World Assembly:

"In accordance with its sovereignty, each member nation has consented to being subject to World Assembly law by virtue of its membership in this august body. As a result, every member nation must fully comply with all active World Assembly law, including this resolution, in good faith, to the very best of its ability, and without any preventable delay. This shall apply regardless of any other law binding that member nation, whether subnational, national, or international."

Bolding mine. Your attempt to get around the prohibition on child labour is not a good faith attempt to "fully comply" with #654 and is thus invalid.

So the Child Labor policy contradicts GA? Would that mean that "Restrictions On Child Labor" would delete the policy from nations that had it prior to its passing? Can resolutions change national policies in general?

Read the resolution and got it, it didn't change policy.

Why do people say xmas? Is it supposed to hide Christ? /s

I don't look forward to Christmas since it's a cringe holiday that is outdated since 1929.

Nope. The real reason is: Nothing personal, just business.
