It does. I'm perceived as foreigner as first impression. Then I open my mouth and show them in more dutch than they'll ever be.
If people see me and I noticed them, I will greet them by either smiling, a nod of the head or even saying goodday. I give a compliment if I get the chance. So the first impression of me is mostly friendly and harmless. Sunny disposition. Polite. And charming. (Have I been told, not my opinion). I'm not handsome, not attractive. Still, people are attracted to me because I'm warm, attentive, good listener, open minded, honest.
