"The Demon Lord of the Round Table; A warrior who soared through the Belkan War, inspiring both fear and admiration. His presence filled the skies for but a few short months before he disappeared. Apart from that, nothing is known about him. I was never able to find out what kind of a person he really was. But whenever they talked about him, they always had a slight smile on their faces.
1) Name a real video game referenced in the movie Wreck-It Ralph.
Pac-Man - SHEEP - 9 Sweetums (Gaston: +1) Kathol Alantic CookiEvee Little Bobo Peep Ada MetroPoz Viktor looneylew
Donkey Kong - 5 Tibs Cohuila Brainarius Broadway Flynn Rider
Super Mario - 5 WubWub Sama Rev Sitethief of Vylixan Selina
Sonic the Hedgehog - 4 O'Wrangutan Norwany Lord of Darkness Stitch
Street Fighter - 1 Empire of Beldemark
Q*Bert - 1 Elegarth
WRONG:
Kingdom Hearts - -1 (Wreck-It Ralph is in a Kingdom Hearts game, though!) Jar Wattinree
Wreck-It Ralph - -1 (The real video game Wreck-It Ralph is actually not the one referenced in the movie and was created afterwards.) Rose
A third of the players went with Pac-Man! Only one person gets the Gaston bonus for it, though, so we will be starting out with a leader on round one, which is rather uncommon. Sweetums is the only one in double digits. The next three answers all had similar totals so don't feel bad if you're tied for 20th. Both wrong answers appear to be as a result of getting the reference backwards- these are two video games which reference the movie, rather than video games which are referenced in the movie.
A huge tie in the middle, a tie for last, a big tie for second, but no tie for first. This isn't much of a spread considering the number of players. Two people are starting off negative, and neither of them picked Baloo. Interestingly, the bonus that put Sweetums ahead of the rest of the big tie is the only bonus anyone received on this round... we'll see how your choices play out. Next time: Some of you clearly misunderstood the question, and I think some of you forgot you were playing Think Same.
As a reminder, you have 24 hours to alter your team response. Note that members of teams Mary Poppins, Ursula, and Pocahontas have to make a selection, and after 24 hours pass no changes to anything will be accepted. I would strongly encourage the following people to DM me as their responses are invalid (you either need to pick a player or pick a question):
Welcome to Think Same: Disney Edition, in honor of Disneyvember on our Discord server! This will be five concurrent games, all of which are played with one set of answers. They will be:
1. Highest scoring player 2. Highest scoring team (total of players' scores) 3. Highest score within each team (i.e. how you would do if your score was only compared to those of your team) 4. Most SHEEPy player (we'll get to that later, but it means highest number of SHEEP answers) 5. Most SHEEPy team (total SHEEP answers)
So, how does one play Think Same? At the bottom of this post will be a link to a Google form, which you will fill out according to an hono(u)r system. The goal is to answer the same way as your comrades, and particularly those in your team. You will receive a number of points equal to the number of people who answered the same as you for each question- provided the answer is correct. The most popular answer is called the SHEEP. Now, suppose you give an incorrect answer. You then receive negative points equivalent to the number of people who answered that wrong answer. So, let's say six people are asked to name something that normally lives in the ocean. Three people say "Shark"; that is the SHEEP answer and they receive 3 points each. One person each respond with "kelp" and "squid" and receive one point each. One person responds with "Werewolf" and receives -1 points for giving a wrong answer. Each question works the same way.
This version is a bit different than usual; the teams will actually matter. You may notice that the team names are Disney characters. Joining a team will give you a specific bonus. However, if too many people are on a team, Disney+ will be overloaded and a penalty will be allocated to all players on the team, making them lose one point for each person over the threshold. The teams are as follow:
Jiminy Cricket: When you wish upon a star, it doesn't matter who you are... you might be eligible for ten points. Effect: Receive a random number of points between zero and ten. Threshold: 1/3 the total number of players. Mary Poppins: A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, in the most delightful way. Effect: Choose one question and receive points equal to the SHEEP instead of the points you would have otherwise received for that question. Threshold: 1/3 the total number of players. Gaston: No one picks like Gaston, makes mouse clicks like Gaston, from a SHEEP answer can get their kicks like Gaston. Effect: Receive one point for each SHEEP answer. Threshold: 1/3 the total number of players. Ursula: Those poor unfortunate souls... they will lose points. Effect: Choose one player. That player will receive -6 points at the end of the game. The choice cannot be changed after 24 hours from the beginning of answers being released. If you select someone who is not playing, the points will be deducted from you instead. Threshold: 1/3 the total number of players. Baloo: Look for the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities, forget about your worries and your strife. Effect: If you answer a question incorrectly, receive zero points instead of negative points for that question. If you answer less than five questions incorrectly, receive five points at the end of the game. Threshold: 1/3 the total number of players. Pocahontas: If you walk the footsteps of a stranger, you’ll learn things you never knew you never knew. Effect: Choose one player. The first time you receive fewer points than that player on any question, you will instead receive the same number of points as that player for that question. The choice cannot be changed after 24 hours from the beginning of answers being released. If you select someone who is not playing, you will receive no points on whatever question you would have received the smallest positive number of points for. Threshold: 1/3 the total number of players.
The honor pledge: By playing Think Same, you agree to not disclose your answers to any player save the organizer ( Marinas Island ) between the posting of this form and the closing of responses. You agree to bring any issues to the attention of the organizer as soon as you find them and not to challenge the outcome if you do not do so. You agree to only submit one set of answers, even if you are drunk. If you wish to dispute the ruling of an answer as correct/incorrect, you agree to bring it up with the organizer via forum PM, NS telegram, or Discord DM. If you want clarification on any question or to modify an existing answer, you agree to bring it to the attention of the organizer via forum PM, NS telegram, or Discord DM.
The game will begin in one week (7 days). The game can be found here:
Starting off strong. I’ve got a good feeling about this one. My mom was obsessed with Disney while I was growing up, so I was greatly educated on this subject against my will.
