Earlier today Rui Matsubara-Herrera, Chancellor of the Baratochin State signed an Executive Order with the prior consultance of the Shū Hyōgi-kai, the Baratochin Legislature, that plans to provide continued humanitarian and monetary aid to the Remnant Kingdom of Uusikotikn that continues to suffer in poverty with the loss of the Volkish Mainland to the Gothilum Menace. For the past few months after the destruction of the Volkish Realm, the Volkish people have continued to be on the sidelines as the local international community has focused on containing the spreading cancerous Gothic influence- in turn shying away from aiding the ones that the Gothilum people originally sough to destroy.

With much of the Volkish Population in Uusikotikn living in severe poverty and living off Government-dispersed goods and medical services, the overburdened remnant government with general support from Friently has struggled to afloat. In support of the disadvantaged people within the Kingdom and remembering the longstanding cordial relations with the Volkish Tsaral Realm, it has been declared past due time to come to the aid of their neighbors.

The Order signed by Chancellor Matsubara-Herrera is expected to give 4 billion in aid to Uusikotikn through direct monetary support, donation of food and other neccessecities, aiding in establishing a concrete foundation for the Volkish Government, and generally helping the poverty-stricken people of the Kingdom. While the Chancellor dismissed opposition's demand for military aid to Uusikotikn in the event of "The Goths coming to finish the job" as one MP said, Matsubara-Herrera has said saying it is up to the Volkish Government to spend the monetary support by any means it seems fit. The Baratochin Revolutionary Naval Force and Merchant Marine are christened to lead the delivery of aid, most if not all of it coming via freighters over the East Osean Great Lakes.

In a statement after the fact, State Consul Torajiro Sakane said "The Baratochin Nation will do everything in its power within reason to continue to aid the Volkish People who have suffered enough in the face of the Genocide at the hand of the Goths. It is our duty as both a nation that stares the Gothilum beast head on and as a nation of the people- not a nation of the Baratochin People, but as a nation of all People; especially the disheartened... ...The Baratochin nation is ready to coordinate and fully allow the inflow of Friently ships headed towards Uusikotikn through the Ōkīkonekuta Canal, as only together can we help the Volkish people and dismantle the Goths."

The Chancellor, State Consul, and Overseer of the Ministry of Defense refused to comment on the possibility of the aiding of Uusikotikn potentionally sparking a Gothilum response.
