Around the border with the mysterious neighbor of Daki remained a massive Lotionese tower. The area around the tower was very calm; No disturbances in the air could be felt, and the sounds of leaves being moved around by the air could be heard. Birds could be heard chirping, and the area was almost entirely peaceful. Almost.

In the tower remained a few Lotionese troops, most of which looked incredibly bored. One soldier exclaimed “...Why’d we get selected for the most boring part of the border? A few hours of just waiting around in a tower or going on the ground. It’s so boring!”

One of the soldiers replied, “Vasyli, your not being asked much at the moment. I think you should be happy with that. You could’ve been one of the poor lasses in the army that had to actually fight and take over numerous areas of lands for the empire. And probably would’ve died from a rogue soldier or somethin’” The soldier placed a cigarette into his mouth.

Vasyli shrugged. While it was true, most soldiers considered that the annexation of St.Alexander to be at a great cost, it perhaps had alot more action compared to where he was at. Unlike most of the soldiers, he didn’t have to worry too much about his family, or his wife, because he had none. He had no family. He had no wife. He was alone, who had to survive as best as he could with that sort of status.

One of the soldiers exclaimed, “Oy, boys. I think I see...Oh what the hell..” “What is it? Malino-?” Vasyli said, before looking out the window. “Oh jesus christ…. Well.. While I’m not a fan of it.. We’re going to need to get down there. The few soldiers down there aren’t too sure of… What that is. I want… You, Malinov to make sure that no one else tries to cross the border while we are dealing with this. If you see someone, call me on the radio, and I’ll send someone to deal with it. Malinov nodded, and he turned around to climb to the roof of the tower with his binoculars.

Vasyli and three other soldiers began rushing down. They went down the stairs, rushed outside, and began running to the few soldiers standing near the road.

The few guards standing by the road were immensely calm. One even began to smoke a cigarette. That was until a few of the soldiers had noticed a few……”Creatures” walking towards them. One of the captains that were in the building that were watching the “things” approach them, walked out of his building while trying as best as he could to be brave. We would like to request acceptance into your nation.” The captain was confused for a moment. Before turning to his men, which one of them whispered, “I think we should bow back to them.. Common courtesy, I suppose?” The others were quick to agree with the soldier. The captain turned around and bowed alongside the soldiers in response. The captain quickly said, “Greetings Haikura, servant of Bora.. My name is Pervak, captain for this specific border post. While we have every reason to accept you into the nation, I must ask, who do you wish to meet? And for regarding what? It’s quite important for the reason for you and the others to enter the nation.” He proceeded to place a cigarette in his mouth as quick as he could.
