Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself as well, I used to play NS years ago and recently started again. Hope I have found a home in this region!
Greetings. Noticed your nation is considered capitalist currently, are you using some sort of autonomous system of unions, or do you require some assistance in a friendly revolution? We hope you enjoy your time here!
Essentially it’s temporary. I started off as a socialist nation but legalized capitalism as a “necessary evil” due to the limitations and biases within the game. I plan on turning it socialist again once I have a strong economy (I’m using the CIL Guide as a reference point).
For now though I’m trying to choose as many worker-centric or anti-corporate options as I can to prevent capitalism from getting out of control, as well as direct most of my spending to programs that benefit the people as a whole.
For what it’s worth, my real life ideology is democratic socialism.

If you have any more questions, feel free to telegram Secretary Dyl!
I did not say this because of the language they are speaking. I am not against the usage of the German language, I am just concerned that their flag is based on the flag of the former German Empire.
Hello There! I'm new here and wanted to make some friends here, I hope you can help me in times of struggle and teach me how to become a bigger nation here! Thank you!
Our total population is 509 (-65 in comparison to N-Day week) and our WA population is 256 (-4 in comparison to N-Day week).
I apologise for missing last week's update as well as being late for this one. I have been very busy academically and balancing everything has not been easy.
This dispatch details the record of recruitment efforts in The Leftist Assembly since December 2017, incorporating all previous versions. This is the official recruitment tracker as per by section 2(d) of the Minister Responsibilities Act. It is currently overseen by Minister of Recruitment Dyl.
1 This data begins on 21 September 2018. It does not include New Arkados' recruitment figures prior to that point. 2 It is uncertain what the data from this period covers. It likely includes several months prior to December 2019. 3 This data begins on 23 March 2020 and also includes the first week of April 2020. It does not include The Final Horseman's recruitment figures prior to that point. 4 This data begins on 23 June 2020. It does not include Libertasnia's recruitment figures prior to that point. 5 This data begins on 18th March 2021. It does not include New Flamington's recruitment figures prior to that point. 6This data only includes 8 days due to New Flamington getting control of recruitment mid month and Nationstates outages 7This data begins on 23 March 2023. It does not include New Flamington's recruitment figures prior to that point.
Feel free to throw any questions you may have my way. I also strongly recommend joining the Discord, where the bulk of our activity is. There's also tons of people to befriend and learn from!
A sensible repeal to what appears to be a poorly-considered piece of legislation.
Commend Kuriko - EITHER
I am personally unconvinced by the arguments made in this commendation, and I don't see long-term activity in the Defender sphere of Gameplay as a solid basis of commendation, nor simply serving as a long-term delegate for a large region like XKI. The only commendable act in this proposal from my view is their authorship of Liberate Boston, but that was passed over 2 years ago.
Constitution Amendment (Judicial Process) was passed in a public referendum with a vote of 31-1, with 7 abstentions.
Note: I made the previous poll open to all citizens instead of just WA citizens by mistake. I apologise for that and corrections were taken into account in the numbers above.
Legislation Introduced
Next in the Legislative Queue is Court Procedure Amendment (Judicial Process), which is hereby introduced on the RMB for public feedback:
This amendment will help to simplify prosecuting nations for breaking the law in Court Procedure Act by replacing lawsuits and criminal offences with a trial process, as well as include an official process for requesting interpretations of the law, which is among the responsibilities of the Justices not accounted for in the original act. The amendment also mandates that discussion and voting will be made freely accessible to the public, which would help to increase the transparency and accountability of the Supreme Court, while still allowing for exceptions in case there is sensitive or confidential information present in the trial or discussion of legal rulings.

Foof! It’s been a while. We’re now well into Secretary Kavagrad’s term, we came second in N-Day, lots of new legislation has been passed (did I mention we came second in N-Day?) and we came second in N-Day! Not a bad record.

Potato Alliance Stages A Miracle N-Day Comeback
If you were to look at the N-Day Scoreboard (for those who don’t know, N-Day is an annual full 24 hours of absolute nuclear catastrophe in NationStates) in the first few hours, you couldn’t even see the Potato Alliance, the faction in which TLA was a member of. We had a pretty measly start. It was pretty hopeless. But, just a few hours later, if you were to look at that same scoreboard, you would see something phenomenal.
The Potato Alliance was now second place.
Due to the brilliant efforts of the thousands of Potato-allied nations, we were able to cement ourselves in N-Day history. The Augustin Alliance ultimately won, but we came second. The best people always come second (I’m talking to you, Bernie).
Invasion or Just New Members?
Something odd has been happening in TLA. In very quick succession, a bunch of new nations joined us, posting very similar messages on the RMB. This led Sauros to believe that the notorious Confederation of Corrupt Dictators was attempting an invasion (after all, one of the nations had the flag of the old German empire). We’ll keep you up to date on this sus story.
Congrats Jacinda!
Yesterday, Prime Minister of New Zealand and Leader of Labour won a landslide second term! This is mainly down to her superb handling of the COVID Crisis. We wish her a great second term!
