OOC: I’m just going to talk in English, I have no time to constantly switch between Three NS accounts and google translate. You can keep speaking in Corgish as long as you provide a convenient translation. The concierge presses the button three, and states, “ Your room is on floor three, room 309.” As the elevator music plays, conversation continues. “ Are there any prestigious universities in your homeland?”
"There's lots, Nourisant in Keroz, Marriot University in Serres, and then there's Zalisos, the one i went to. Those are at lest the ones i can name off the top of my head."
The concierge, named Conall, nods as Onez lists off the colleges. “ I see. How were they affected by the recent war? I can only hope that if they were in the range of combat, they weren’t affected.”
"Norisant was used as a ammo depot for militants fighting Rostorians in the area. The other two weren't near any battlefield. They've fixed up Ronograd so i'm sure that school is fine now and they're getting back to normal."
The plane would respond back, "Copy that landing at strip seven, over and out.". The plane would land and begin taxing to the parking area. As the plane stopped and its doors slowly opened, 2 men dressed in black suits would come out being the representatives themselves. The men would be followed by assistants and guards with fully enclosed face helmets and dressed in black armor and armed with compact machine guns. As the representatives and their guards made their way down they would wave and greet the Flers officials with a warm smile. "Thank you for inviting us here, I see a bright future between our states" The Vice President said with great enthusiasm.
"Ah, of course! That it what is says on my..." She sheepishly reviews her notebook, "my itinerary..." Gracious, how embarrassing. You'd think after traveling for her job so many times she'd be able to remember what is on the schedule she planned weeks in advance. Once in her room, she locked the door and plopped on the bed. She let out a small sigh. "A little time alone sounds nice." She knew she only had miniscule amounts of time before she had to be back on her feet to discuss with the other nation's representatives, but spending a little time recollecting her thoughts after the lengthy travel is exactly what she needed.
Ms. Clarkson stares at the clock on the wall for a while. Only a few minutes pass, but it feels much longer. She was used to taking up various assignments that her job called for, and she felt empowered, strong-willed to tackle any issues put in front of her, but this assignment seemed different. It was going to be a peaceful meeting among nations with common interests, nothing to worry about, right?
The fights between the Three Tribes seemed so long ago, yet it still rang through part of her memory, faint and distant. the clock continued to tick. Her family suffered at the hands of relentless Laalmi soldiers with great weapons. She wanted to push it back further and further into her memory. Perhaps that's part of the reason why she wanted to experience life outside of her home nation. She hoped to never experience the hardships she experienced in her youth to happen ever again. Not to her, not to her family, not to any others she cared about. The ticking grew louder.
The bombs, the fire, the screams. Not again, not ever again. The ticking started to become quite loud.
A sudden knock on the door startled Corrie from her daze and sent her into a shaken state. She slowly approached the door and answered it slowly. It was Airear simply checking in on her. "May I get you anything?"
"No, I'm fine," responds Corrie, her blonde hair slightly frayed. She proceeds to close the door but stops at the last second with only a sliver of the door open. She swings the door open again and stares at Airear for a moment. "Actually, a little bit of breakfast and walking around sounds nice."
"At least you people have some deccency, those kr- Onez pauses shortley and continues talking Rostorans ravaged the school and turned it to a mess. I'm surpries they even fixed it so quickly. Those Cardonian workers really get things done, but at least peope can go back to school now."
Greeted by guard Mboto Komeni, a former immigrant, and the Prime Minister of Corgaigh, Irick Chochaire, the VP was warmly accepted by Chochaire. After gripping hands with the VP, the Prime Minister said, “ Welcome! On behalf of the people of the Corgish peoples, I do believe that this treaty is in the common interest of both Greater Rostoria and Corgaigh. Now, Mboto here will escort you to your limousine and we will have a fireside chat at the hotel.”
“Right. Ah, it appears that we are here.” The ding of the elevator alerted the men, and they stepped out of the lift and into the hallway. “Your room is at the far end of the corridor, just before the junction between tow halls. Do you need me to carry your things?”
Airear gestures to the nearest lift, and says “ If you need escort, I can certainly provide. If not, the breakfast area is on the first floor, center of the lobby.”
As Onez holds the door, Conall walks in and drops the luggage on one of two velvet couches. “If you need anything, call room service and I’ll be up in a few minutes. The number is next to the phone.”
Corrie heads down two flights of stairs back into the intricate lobby. She smells various foods being served in the breakfast area and decides to quietly head over. She isn't feeling particularly hungry at the moment, but she needed to get out of her room before anything else disturbing may happen. She picks up a small bowl of fruit and carries it over to a big, open table. She sits down and quietly introduces herself to other people at the table.
ooc: If any of the other nations want to join, or I can join them, you can let me know I'm flexible to other options
OOC: Okay, I believe that Krozland and Greater Rostoria are at or arriving at the hotel. I don’t think any of the diplomats are at the breakfast lobby, but richer pedestrians are there.
The VP after gripping hands with the Prime minister he would smile and warmly accept the ride "Thank you very much, I hope we both can work more in the future for the better of our people." He would then finish greeting everyone. "Also no need for security, I think ill just use our men" He said to the guards escorting them trying to be polite and not seem rude. As the 2 men walked the 2 men walked to the limousine they would be followed by their own guards, the 2 men then got inside as they admired the flers country while waiting to finally arrive.
