I have a proposal regarding the History of Valsora. We could have a historical conference to outline the history's of nations, animals, and possibly the history of the Universe.

Could such a proposal work?

For the last one, that's sort of manageable by helping out with the descriptions of each part of the Sulia System.

Ooh! Kampf and some other people, myself included, are actually working on the history of Valsoran species right now! It's a big project that will take a while, but seems relevant to this sort of endeavour.

"Probably the Renme. They're amphibians, but greatly prefer the water -- it's quite rare to see one in this room. They look rather like giant, speckled axolotls with arms. Their civilization was much more 'advanced' than that of the carrion birds; they had architecture, sciences, farming, all tucked away on the ocean floor. But they never found a heating system that worked underwater, so the next ice age saw them all die off. -Some suggested leaving the ocean, making fire on land and huddling around it, but sadly that didn't catch on fast enough. By the time most renme really knew it would be their best option, they were largely too cold to move." Zerachiel looks away for a moment. "They were remembered as 'sea monsters.' Hardly fair."

Understanding Estande's interest.

With the situation in the war of San Sierra and Levantine rebels against Saddam Urabi's dictatorial regime, our assembly has agreed to support offered by the Republic of Estande. San Sierra with the agreement by the people and the state will give military access to Estande. When we finish the crusade against the dictatorship, we would be interested to establish a diplomatic mission with you all.

We'll overcome!

With our love, President Esteban Villacres of the Republic of San Sierra.

With permission from the San Sierran government and the San Sierran president himself, Cuimbro gathered an assembly of like-minded generals. The first obstacle was to convince the San Sierrans, which was easy, but the next obstacle was how to get to Usnistan.

They immediately thought of something. Considering Estandé has almost no military watercraft, they would ask San Sierra to let the Estandér planes to land on one of their aircraft carriers.

As the generals were planning, President Cuimbro already prepared the air fleet of 27 San Pedro M55 fighter jets and 4 Córsario M36 bombers, which were to take off when the letter sent was approved.

Another message was sent to the president, again asking permission to let the planes land on an aircraft carrier.

Dear leader and politicians of San Sierra -

We again at Estandé ask for your government's permission once more. We require an aircraft carrier to take our aircraft to Usnistan and considering we don't have any aircraft carriers, let alone any military watercraft, we need permission to land in one of your carriers.

Your government can also assign us to a specific carriers, though, be advised that there are 31 aircraft sent to Levantin. We'd love to hear your response, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Kindly; Michael Silva Cuimbro, President of the Republic of Estandé

An icon. A legend. A champion for equality and justice, using practical, measurable goals to advance feminist equality through the gradual creation of actionable precedent in key cases that have had a profound effect on United States jurisprudence ever since their original argumentation.

Who else could I speak of but Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the Notorious RBG, one of the greatest and most powerful feminists of her generation and an unexpected pop culture icon. In the wake of her death, now is the perfect time to look back on the career of this truly awe-inspiring woman. There is no better place to start than her cases argued before the United States Supreme Court, the most powerful court in one of the most powerful countries in the world. But of the six she argued, which one do you think is most important? What are your opinions on the questions argued in these cases? How do you think her tendency to argue in cases extending rights to men previously only given to women impacted how the Supreme Court ruled on key cases that broke barriers around gender inequality? Are there areas of the law you feel need a separation around how men and women are treated?

"Yes. There's so much that's been forgotten, or worse, overwritten -- and I know little ones have limits, I know they're doing the best they can, but . . . these people all have names. Lives. Names and lives that deserve to be remembered but they're not because that's too hard." Zerachiel covers his face for a brief while. "I know them. All of them. Each one by name. But the world that shaped them, that they cared about so much, it doesn't think they were ever even real."

The Land Down Under of Merlovich

A response will follow shortly.

The First Marshal is live, making a national televised address to the nation at 7:30pm

"Good evening.

As many of you know the recent events in Serkin have not gone unnoticed. The imperialist filth across the strait once more rear their heads, threatening our very way of life. They wish only for destruction and selfish gain, their conquests will not go uncondemned by our great nation, nor by the world. The people of Serkin will only see suffering, and furthermore pain and anguish under Kampfian rule. The Militariat Republic tonight condemns the warmongering actions of Kampf in the highest nature possible. The government of the people of Kampfia is corrupt, selfish and represents everything we in Merlovich are morally opposed to. Tonight I have declared a State of National Emergency in Merlovich. The military has been placed on high alert, and the nation will move to MAPS 4. From midnight Saturday, all trade, relations and access between the nations of Kampf and Serkin are hereby forbidden. Any and all Merlovichan citizens within Kampf and Serkin are urged to organise travel plans out of the country. Any citizens of Kampf and Serkin who wish to seek refuge in Merlovich are also, from midnight tonight granted permanent residency in the Militariat Republic. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Office of Residency and Census will be given roadmaps and authority to take the actions necessary to make this happen.

The border with Serkin will be from here on out, highly militarised. Those wishing to come in or out must pass through assigned checkpoints. The Military has been given special powers, as we are in a time of National Crisis, and are more than capable of acting out the authority of our Republic.

Economically, any and all Kampfian government assets within Merlovich will be seized and redistributed, and the Kampfian Embassy in Melbourne will be closed forthwith. I remind you all, this is not an attack on Kampfians, it is an attack on the dictatorship which wishes only to see our downfall. I discourage any dismay or hatred towards those of Kampfian origin, this is not intended to kneecap the people of Kampf, it is intended to halt their governments warmongering habits. Further statements will come as of tomorrow and this week, and the Council of Marshals and both houses of the Dual Assemblies will hold meetings every day until stated otherwise."

The First Marshal looks into the camera lens, with a stern look covering her face, her brow slightly furrowed.

"To the people of Merlovich, we will endure. As we have always done, this is no different. We will not be pushed to the side and frightened by bullies. Long Live Merlovich, and god bless the Militariat Republic.

Goodnight."

*click*

The camera shuts off, the First Marshal exhaling deeply. She takes a few deep breaths, gathering herself before turning to her right and glancing at an advisor, who looks on with a look of curiosity. "Do it."

The advisor nods, leaving the room, followed by the camera and sound crews.

Under the cover of darkness, the Merlovichan 2nd, 3rd and 6th Imperial Fleets set a course for the Auburn Strait. Docking in the port cities of Mernda and Greensborough under the watchful eye of the Marshals. 6 military batallions are moved south, and begin setting up checkpoints on all major highways leading into Merlovich from Serkin. The city of Woogong, in the deep south of Merlovich is designated as the temporary military centre for all Kampfian interests. The nation awakes to a state of emergency, an aura of discomfort and tension float through the air. Business continues as usual in the cities and towns, but the feeling of constant questioning lingers in the minds of many.
