| Kilkire | The war on the land: *With the benefit of catching the bulk of the German forces off guard, the armored spearhead strikes swiftly and deeply into the south. While at first the tank casualties as a result of the land mines are tolerated, as they do not pose too dangerous an opponent. The spearhead manages to cover it's flanks, and push further into the States than anywhere else on the front before Field Marshall O'Sullivan, who leads the Port Berlin Army Group, realizes that the blitz must be temporarily slowed, so that the Kilkirian Mine Plows can make it to the front lines to reduce unnecessary deaths. Across the other fronts, infantry divisions provide a very slow, but firm and solid advance. Especially the Center Army Group, who in the first three days of the offensive, managed to capture dozens of forts and even secure a sizable border town. In the north however, there is a gridlock. In the more hilly and wet terrain, the Northern Army Group failed to take advantage of the element of surprise. At first they did manage to get a foothold on the higher altitude terrain that defines the border of Uladh and the northern States, but they lost that foothold quickly and even were temporarily pushed back. The war on the sea: *With the lighter destroyers having quickly formed the outline of a blockade while the heavier cruisers and dreadnoughts made their way westwards as quickly as they could have, most reinforcement ships were blocked from entry into the Port. Now, three days after the beginning of Operation Abhartach, the final ships for the blockade arrived in position. Once the clock struck twelve, Dreadnoughts open fire onto the city, and it's naval guardians. As more than a dozen wolf-packs start nipping at the feet of the German fleet. Aircraft carriers launch four hundred naval planes to harass the enemy fleet. After a half hour of bombardment, the wolf packs begin launching torpedoes at the hulls of enemy ships. The German Fleet is now receiving heavy fire from all fronts; the skies, above the waves, and below the ocean.* The war on the skies: *With several heavy AA stations all along the border racking up aerial casualties, bombers are ordered to make daring raids to take out the largest stations. While this results in a temporary spike in casualties, after 24/7 campaigns trying to weaken the anti-air support of the German army, the mission is considered a temporary success. While there still is an anti-air presence, it is weakened enough for bombers to reach eastern German industrial towns, and border military bases. Fighters, now with the heavy AA cover beaten back further west by the heroic sacrifices by the bomber corp, can start combating the elusive German fighters in their own airspace.
