The Heavenly Crusader Federation of Order of the Saint Dumas | Well that might be part of it but it just feels like it's much less of an interesting time to be alive that and it feels like nothing has depth to it. I know that my feeling over past time periods are just part of revisionism. We look back and see the whole picture while right now we can't judge anything yet. I feel just that it's not going to be interesting.
The Interim Lore of Flers-Douai | YES! I love the tech there. Honestly, from 1800 onwards to the interwar period is the best and most interesting era of history.
The Interim Lore of Flers-Douai | Thanks Zid
The Heavenly Crusader Federation of Order of the Saint Dumas | Yeah! It's quite something. Inventions, inovation in every aspect of life. The time period is just so rich. It's like you can realy bite into to it and feel/taste the time period. Myehn and Flers-Douai
The Bison and Belgian King of Restoration of Eastern Kaiserreich | That's real.
The Interim Lore of Flers-Douai | Not to mention the amazing borders
The Heavenly Crusader Federation of Order of the Saint Dumas | Germany pre unification is just unhealthy for the eye.
The Corporatocracy of Liberatarianism | I personally idealize the ‘80s a little too much.
The Second Federal Republic of Dvaorla | I feel like making a new flag, should I? New Gehenna and Myehn
The Bison and Belgian King of Restoration of Eastern Kaiserreich | It is the 80s after all New Gehenna and Myehn
The Heavenly Crusader Federation of Order of the Saint Dumas | I have done that too yet it's important to understand that those time had flaws too. For a human being today is the best time to be alive, I do believe this if we look at health and rights but I think we have lost the soul. I personaly find many things to be just hollow. Lacks the souls of things, the depth I keep mentioning. I don't think we are getting that back.
The Interim Lore of Flers-Douai | Italy was a healthy alternative for that kind of gore. I loved pre unification Italy borders.
The Heavenly Crusader Federation of Order of the Saint Dumas | I think it is also nostalgia even if we weren't alive back then. You can still experiance that feeling. Especialy if you really just read, listen and visualize it and we humans often idealize. Still stand by my opinion that I feel things today are just hollow or preceived that way.
The Great Congregation of Brethren | A lot, yes. But I think you were owed it, after what you'd seen. Snow dips the end of her snout into her tea, jaws slightly parted, then closes her mouth and tips her head back like a bird. Meir knows more about the Aether, now, than even Louis did; surely he can be trusted with the "secret" of how dragons actually drink.
The Second Federal Republic of Dvaorla | New flag, new leader coming cause my last one died of heart attack and yea, no new religion though
The Great Congregation of Brethren | I, too, hear the call of clockwork, chonky weird-looking machines, and blimps.
The Weeber Villain Arc of Socialist Lop | I feel nostalgic about Vocaloid songs even though I just became a fan a few months ago
The Interim Lore of Flers-Douai | BLIMPS
The Great Congregation of Brethren | There's just something so viscerally appealing about blimps, as a concept. 10/10 would be a flight attendant on the giant tech balloon.
The Federal Republic of Silvamar | Over a week of blackouts in Silvamar had seen several battles overshawdowed or lost to history because of the lack of communication with anybody. This has actually been detrimental to the RoU, as the force was still very dependent on the internet for communication or recruitment. Even though the revolution has grown, organization was still poor, and not having power assisted the RoU's losses in the majority of battles that took place during the largest blackout the nation had ever seen. As electricians still tried to fix the power issues, news outlets would rarely report on most occurrences, even if they were just simple things like temperature. Citizens were unaware of anything happening in the country, and would only get their necessary information from rumours from those in their social circles. A difficult time for everybody, even the army. Luckily for the revolution in some ways, however, was that thousands of soldiers were still in Paumelidás, or in surrounding regions. This saw old styles of communication come back into play, for example, letters were regularly sent to other places just to get a simple message around. All this eventually culminated in one meeting, with most generals of the revolutionary army along with many of its high ranking officials meeting up in a major military base deep in rebel-occupied Grumús, a town of 27 thousand people around 50km away from Paumelidás. The meeting saw major generals take part, Promìto, Lorgasçim, and several others. Of course the leader of the rebellion, Elias Garcovixa, was there too. Where he laid out his hopes for the rest of the war. Using the blackouts as another bit of reasoning, Garcovixa expressed that the conflict must end soon. The major power grids having been taken down obviously affected the revolutionaries massively, but so too the people. Because of this, Elias said that they should do something about the militias responsible for the powercuts. If the RoU was able to make it seem as though the other insurgent groups were dealt with by them, rather than the government, it could possibly bring even more people to their side, as they'd show how they could do a better job than the government at dealing with criminals. Outside of that, the plans of how to deal with the rest of the country became the main talking point. As said previously, Elias has been showing that he is extremely hopeful for an end to the war that comes soon. The revolution is gaining members slowly, and not quickly enough to sustain their trigger-happy strategy that has run the campaign so far. And with that, the revolution is expecting to start losing ground soon, as its done with no power, according to Garcovixa. So, the leader of the army has proposed a plan. ㅤㅤㅤStage One: Preparation ㅤㅤㅤStage Two: Gathering and border ㅤㅤㅤStage Three: Charge A crazy plan, however, generals know that if necessary, they may do what they must to help the revolution win. If a new republic they can get, a new republic they will have. In their eyes, a government for their people. But, deep in the mind of Garcovixa, a government for the loyal. My war RPs/tactic RPs are not good, not a master with them in the slightest, but I'm trying my best and willing to improve.
The Interim Lore of Flers-Douai | Yeah, I don’t know what it is that just draws your attention.
The Great Congregation of Brethren | SERIOUSLY. #BringBackBlimps
The Interim Lore of Flers-Douai | Elect me as President of the United States and I will make your dreams reality!
The Federal Republic of Silvamar | #flers2024
The Interim Lore of Flers-Douai | Lmao. I’m gonna start a quote book. |
