The Nonite State of AuthRight Authoritarianism

Restoration of Eastern Kaiserreich wrote:"Circumstances in Easunistan over the course of centuries have led us to the point we are now, in which supporting Nonites --no matter how noble it is-- is simply something that hinder rather than aid our efforts. If you cannot understand that, no matter how difficult it may be to do so, that tells us all we need to know of your maturity. We sincerely hope for a brighter future between Easunistan and the nonites of this world, but idealism will not bring it any closer to fruition."

OOC: He seems fairly idealistic, which is understandable.

AuthRight Authoritarianism wrote:"If you can not see how immoral all of that is, then it tells me all I need to know about yours. You are complacent because the issue does not affect you, if you looked like me then you would be standing for what is right. How do you expect a bright future when nonites are treated a second class citizens when they tour your nation?"

OOC: Yeah he did grow up in this system and has met MMK.

The Holy Land of Levantin

Why are there conservatives who like Huey Long’s economic policy?

I mean, I kinda get it. I’m a conservative and I like some populist fiscal policies. But at the same time... what?

cool.
I used to be a conservative a couple years ago but was turned off by the idiots on the far-right. Now I am a libertarian who is close to the center.

"We have explained to you that although the treatment of nonites in this country is immoral, they do not retain any sort of position which would prove relevant to our efforts. It is a horrible thing, that is certain. But it is what it is. Nonite tourism is already a pressing issue, to go any further than that would be to effectively assassinate our movement. And already, our members are subject to violence, intimidation, financial struggles, and a variety of more problems that require immediate addressing. Before we can help Nonites, we need a movement that is firmly supported by the populace and that can win elections. Like it or not, that is politics."

"Will you even help nonites? Would you let them live here again?"

First, set the shrimp to boil.
Next, toss a dozen bags of popcorn into the microwave and let them run for about a minute before you start the timer.

You can maintain socially conservative attitudes while supporting economically populist ones.

AuthRight Authoritarianism wrote:"Will you even help nonites? Would you let them live here again?"

"As always, it's impossible to tell how events would truly play out once we were in power. But yes, our Bill of Rights charter, for example, does include the rights of tourists to travel throughout Easunistan safely and securely. This would be done by guaranteeing nonites access to a physical and digital copy of the guidebook, which would naturally be up to date. Currently, nonites have no access to a digital copy and depending on the administration, are not even provided with a physical one, which was the case with the previous administration. Another right of tourists would be to defend themselves. While this one is still being deliberated, the basic concept is to allow nonites to carry weapons with them. While these measures are not the end goal on nonite rights, they are examples of the steps we would take with enough influence. Far greater measures of ours include outlawing the CCC, the purging of law enforcement officers with connections to it, and the requirement of officers to wear body cameras."

Felt a rather sudden jolt of pain in my left side.

It didn't last terribly long, so hopefully it's nothing too serious.
