Hajira looked around the room, there a multitude of leaders, filling up the ornate, gold and marble space. She had broken away from the president of Abadong to address the guests, but she felt overwhelmed by their sheer presence. Her breath caught, she could swear the room was spinning. Holding onto the banister for support, she stood straighter, sweeping her hand around the room. She was so pitifully young and inexperienced compared to every other occupant in the room, and she was so painfully aware of it.

A strong hand gripped her arm, and a cold, whispered; "You'll do fine dear." Her disguised aunt, Marianne, who had accompanied the visit. Hajira nodded, slowly regaining her balance. The presence left, as Marianne slipped back into the delegation, looking for all the world like just another bland attendant. Hajira sweeped her hand around the room, addressing the attendants; "Hello leaders of the Valsora! Thank you for attending this conference on climate change. I am Hajira, crowned Empress of the Charitian Empire, and the organizer of this event! The president of Abadong has kindly lent us this hotel, be sure to give him your thanks!"

"Please feel free to talk among yourselves, the debates shall start tomorrow, let's hope we can get this policy worked out." Hajira smiled and waved to the guests, moving away from the balcony and down towards the ballroom below. From a corner, her aunt smiled, this empress would do well.

The group lightly claps with exception of the guard. As the cheering and clapping ceases, the female secretary begins her short speech. "So what will happen is that our group will have seven rooms. One for our guard, one for me and Banin, and another five for the representatives. All of our rooms will be on the fifth floor, all right next to each other."

"Then so be it," the Senateer representative said. "You two are dismissed to your rooms. Me and the others will continue to mingle here for a bit before we retire to our beds." The two secretaries nodded and went towards the elevators.

The Senateer representative looked at her fellows and began to speak. "I should've told you all before we arrived, but a hired speaker for us will be arriving shortly this afternoon. Help me keep an eye out for him."

The other representatives exchanged nods with each other and began to speak amongst themselves again.

No word in the dictionary could describe the amount of joy, albeit rather predatory, that Oskar Eroberer felt. He had gotten through the Easarion Front. He had gotten through the army cuts. He had gotten through the economic crisis. He had gotten through the Parliamentary elections. He had gotten through the instability in the basin region. He had gotten through an assassination attempt. He had gotten through thick and thin the last 5 years, sometimes through sheer will power. And now, he was standing on the steps of the Capitol building, taking the oath of office.

“Congratulations, Mr. Chancellor.”

The words rolled from the tongue of the elderly Chief Justice like butter on toast, and once the ceremony was over, a massive rawr of shouts and cheers erupted from the crowd of thousands upon thousands of people that had come to the Capitol to see him become Chancellor. Patting the Chief Justice, the new Chancellor walks up to the microphone.

“Let me tell y’all a story,” he begins. “When I was growing up on that Altmark farm, we had a few hogs. We’d feed the hogs, take care of the hogs, and sometimes we sold them, sometimes we had ham for dinner. But occasionally, a hog would get sick, real sick, one where you had to get rid of ‘em. Well, our government is a sick hog. It’s sick, real sick, and it’s time we got rid of the damn fools in that government, ain’t it?” Once again, the crowd erupts into a cheer that was just about on par with what it felt like to be shelled, soon breaking out into chants of the party slogan. Oskar tries to wave them down, but they quite down only gradually.

“And that’s exactly what we’re gonna do folks. You have elected me as your leader, and I will make sure I fulfill every single thing I promised to you. I ain’t gonna let you down because that would mean letting the country down. We’re gonna boot the establishment out on their ass, just like they did to our brave veterans, then we’ll make sure the idiots can’t come back. After that, we’ll put our economy in order and pay back every debt we owe. What do I mean by that? Well, we’re gonna pay back every goddamn asshole that’s f*cked with us. Every last one!”

To describe the cheers of the crowd in military terms, it would be equivalent to being shelled by artillery guns, bombed by aircraft, while a thermonuclear bomb dropped right beside you. They were furious, just like Oskar, and their cheers upon his decree showed that they were even angrier.

“Folks, we’re gonna make sure that this country never goes to hell again, as it has so many times in the past. We ain’t gonna falter, neither are we gonna flinch. We will have our Honor once again folks, and our Honor will stand with our nation for a thousand, no, a million years! Mark my words!”

One last time, the crowd was set off like a battery of Raketenwerfers. Oskar waves to the crowd, and gives the Honor Party salute, the crowd quickly returning it. “Thank y’all, gimme a few days and we’ll be back on track to being the top dogs.” As he came off the stage on the Capitol stairs, he began to realize how sweaty he was, and how fast his heart was pumping. Nothing had kicked his adrenaline up like that except giving a speech in front of a roaring crowd.

Oskar then heads out of the Capitol and hops into the bullet proof limousine that made the center of the Chancellor’s motorcade, a few APCs rolling on the flanks to protect him and clear the road. They rolled down Repulikan street, then Maximilian, then finally, on Ruhmes Street, and pulled into the gates of the Ruhmes Haus.

Parking, he hops out with a few Honor Guard’s, which he was using instead of RSB per his request. He grins, seeing the Ruhmes Haus before him. This was his now. Oskar pushes the doors open and views all the works of art and the freshly cleaned rooms. Politicians spared no expense when they alone could be comfortable. Electing to pay no attention it it, he walks to the end of the Haus, the far end, where the office of the Chancellor lay.

Oskar slowly pushes the door in, and sees the Ruhmes Office, taking a minute to savor his victory. He’d won, by God, and now, this was his office, not some damn socialist’s. He steps over to the Chancellor’s desk, pulls out the chair, and takes his seat, sliding back into it and sighing with relief. Here he sat, triumphant over the establishment, and he was sure he would stand triumphant over the rest of his enemies.

Because, this was where he would pack back all that he owed.

Every.

Last.

Bit.

Oh god.

Ostarian Hitler just took over.

The Original Valsora Revival

This is the original revival of the Valsora map, after the collapse of the Cartography Team. Although many of the newer nations don't remember it, Valsora wasn't the original RMB map. That honor goes to Zukchiva's Dibergia map. While the map was good, and it served its purpose well, it was eventually decided that a new map would be made. Thus; me, Zukchiva, Libertanny, Volstokn, and Sarkis decided to make a new map. This map was what became Valsora. It was not however, the same Valsora that you see today. Rather, it is this one:

Libertanny drew the original draft for the map, and each cartographer took their own continent to name. I took Yastreovakia as my continent, Sarkis took Nonscio (Now named Araseos,) Zukchiva took Mefugris (Now named Nonscio,) Volstokn took Orientalis, and Libertanny took Araseos (Now named Usnistan.) Volstokn took the lead in designing the Suiliasystem, een going so far as to draw images of all the planets, which have sadly been long since lost. However, as this map was introduced, it was not accepted readily. Many fought back, preferring the old map with its long history. In the end, Valsora fell through, and RMB RP was shattered. Some preferred Valsora, some preferred Dibergia, and some wanted no map at all. There were several attempts to rekindle interest in a map, namely the maps from Sarkis and Devlon, but neither became the definitive map.

In the end, feeling a little tired of the process, I decided to remake Valsora for my own pleasure. This is where the culture rule for the continents originated, as originally Valsora was just meant to be a personal project, where I would group the nations together. I redrew the continents and began to fill out the map. As I did so, more people joined, and the map began to fill out. Some requested permission to RP with the map, as at the time it was still just a personal project. I said sure, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Nova-Columbia wrote:Mikael looks at the new Empress, judging her silently. He knew that it was unfair to judge her by the actions of her aunt. He knew it with all his heart. And yet he couldn't help it. In Columbia, honor meant everything. An action by a single person could elevate their descendants to the status of nobles, or doom them to a life spent redeeming sins they did not commit. Whenever he looked at the young woman, all that he could see was the Empress who had nearly killed his best friend since childhood. Nevertheless, as she finished her speech, Mikael clapped politely along with the crowd. As the applause died down and the mingling began, Mikael turned to address his Honorguard. "Spread out around the room, keep an eye on everything. I want two of you with me at all times. If you see anything, no matter how minor you may think it to be, check in. If any of your TACPAD signals go offline, we will assume there is a breach, and shall act accordingly." He looked around the assembled guards, taking in the site. "Stay on guard men. I'd rather not be the third Primarch in a row to be injured at an event like this." He said that last part with a smile, and a barely audible chuckle rolled through the guards. "Remember, you are free to socialize, but your top priority is ensuring security."

With that, Mikael turned on his heel and began wandering the crowd, searching for someone to talk to. Behind him, the guards spread out as ordered, two of them trailing several feet behind him.

Columbian uniforms, Hajira had gone to talk to a delegate from ArenaC, allowing Marianne to look over the convention. The comfortable confines of the suit fitted her well, and she had disguised her distinctive eyes behind contacts. She watched the Columbian guards pass by, lurking by the wall like a typical aide. They hadn't noticed, much to her personal satisfaction.

Marianne's eyes caught on a young man, who was eyeing Hajira with poorly disguised disdain. With surprise, she noted he wore the uniform of Primarch. A smile slowly slid over her face. Silent as a snake, she crept over to the man, unnoticed in her disguise. She got within a few feet, before speaking, voice cold as ice. "Hello Primarch. It's an honor to meet you. How is Tanya?"

She was unsure if her voice gave her away, but at this point she cared very little.
