A rally made by the Venezuelan independence party in the city of Caracas was set as protests for Venezuela to break away from Gran Colombia, most of the independence party supporters are communists, socialists and leftists close to communism. Gran Colombian police were watching the rally just to make sure it wasn't made violent, but once counter-protesters, which are Colombians patriotic to Gran Colombia, came in to show demonstrations that the Venezuelan Independence Party are a bunch of socialists, this makes the Independence party clash with Pro-Colombian Counter-Protesters, which makes the police finally intervene to prevent a riot. Minutes after clashing, the rallies and protests cause riots in some streets of Caracas, this makes the Gran Colombian police have no chance but to suppress the independence party. After the independence riots were successfully suppressed, Pro-Colombian rallies cheer, but also angers Venezuelans.
