I wouldn't say "horde" per say

I only got a limited amount of securitrons on Mk1 OS. I will need to retake the factories near Vault 3 and secure resources. I do know one thing, its that there is a gold mine near Cottonwood Cove, the NCR or other nations would no doubt jump at an opportunity to trade for gold

Think of it this way, why waste the opportunity to get resources in your clear skirmish with the NCR? Wouldn't you want New Vegas to stay neutral in this conflict without my meddling in funding NCR efforts in your downfall? I have the tech and knowledge of combat tactics thanks to my computer integration and pre-war knowledge. Making an enemy that would be your Afghanistan seems more like a hindrance than to simply have a beneficial trade

MAY 19, 2032: Terrorist Attack Strikes

Attack Shakes Southern Border! Hundreds Dead

Today in the early morning, citizens in the Southern cities of Orionisko and Valkyria were awakened by the sounds of gunfire and multiple high-impact detonations. Initially confused about the source of the violence, the Corzerran National Guard was called in to investigate and subdue the attackers. At 2:43 A.M., a firefight broke out between the Corzerran National Guard and the unidentified forces. At 3:01 A.M., with aid of a rapid response team from the military, the attackers were forced to retreat.

In the aftermath of the battle, a substantial amount of military troops were called in to secure the region. The region is currently closed to non-residents and the general public while casualties are being counted, but the current number of estimated casualties is around 150. Several of the attackers killed by the combined efforts of the national guard and military were found to bear no insignias belonging to any recognized nation or organization, further complicating the search for the source of this attack.

"This is the first time in many years that something like this happened outside of the Western sectors," says an unnamed soldier, "I'm not completely sure if this is the FRZO since they usually act in the West, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were the ones behind this." In a press conference, the Minister of Political Geography Bogdan Lewandowski said, "This attack has been a result of the unsecured borders in the South. After the period of isolationism and the relief that the open borders gave, the people of Corzerran have not been completely vigilant." Officials continue to urge the public to alert authorities if they see something suspicious or out of place. In an official statement, the head of a local police department Rafał Sobczak said, "We are still unsure about the origin of the attackers, but we will have our forces on high alert in the area until those responsible are brought to justice. We cannot forgive the spilling of Corzerranean blood."

King Zachary Graham was seen meeting with his ministers in the capital of Solaria following the attack. He has refused to hold a press conference today, but has communicated his interest in organizing one as soon as possible. The king, along with his ministers, were not available for questions after 10:00 A.M. this morning, and are expected to be completely unavailable until tomorrow at dusk.

Remember, the backbone of Corzerran's sovereignty comes from its citizens. Report any suspicious behavior, regardless of how insignificant it may seem. Trust public officials, they are entrusted to keep the populace safe. And finally, remember: the days of Zernacorr are long gone. The king is the protector of the people. When citizens trust in him and inform the police of distrustful behavior, they protect their own safety, along with those of their neighbors, friends, and family.

Vulpes would likely go behind Lanius's back to ensure that Vegas stay neutral and possible open trade of the knowledge of rome or vital supplies to aid the campaign when necessary.

Honestly yeah, he would be, he knows the worth of Vegas and what House would know if he was what the legends say.

They don't need to fear the Monster of Man if that monster is humiliated somehow to sow the seeds of doubt. I would also imagine it would be quite easy for the Frumentarii to eliminate him with some of their dirty tricks, poison, that kind of thing.

Also just thought of a thing:

Im going to do a funny and have someone sneeze on your Legionaries, I hear not having any sort of medical advancement will, dare I say, literally kill you

It's really not worth it if the Frumentarii kill him, one mistake in the assassination and the army butchers the Frumentarii and charges head first into NCR.
