Greetings fellow dictators and sublime subjugators!

"Peace and tranquility are an illusive aspect. They are often sought for strongly by the Ambition of Kings. It is a rage that flows constant in our minds, and a dream that beats passionately in our hearts. However, many kings fail to question what is felt in the heart and mind. The Ambition of Kings grows in our souls like plague; it is mad, hungry, radical, powerful, unstoppable, deadly. In witnessing the blood and toil of which all of us have seen before, we recognize that while hungry for peace and tranquility, the Ambition of Kings lures in all that a king believes is glory, and what must be done to justify and to secure a unitary society or to secure ourselves in luxury; victory in war, love, lust, wealth, beauty. Peace and tranquility are never constant, they remain hidden in conscience, and the Ambition of Kings, the plague of kings, drives us into paths that lead only to darkness, death, and destruction; all that we have the capability to contain and wield at our own mercy. The Ambition of Kings has ridden kings and emperors for as long as time itself, and yet it seems that such a plague does not lead to peace and tranquility at all. If ambition conquers the heart and mind, a king is left without a soul, and in turn he is left without true peace and tranquility. Instead, he is left gazing down upon his own two hands, and at the blood and tears that drench them. For the Ambition of Kings is a plague that will destroy any and all if not brought under containment. Especially the king himself...
"The Land of Obru whispers to us all! She sings with a voice of iron from the great white palaces of hale and snow. They have been risen and gifted everlasting fertility by the natures of our great terran world. The hearts of men are aflame as the whispers draw us close! Flendelring, I beg to all dearly. Tenevas plague has purged our brethren and the once fertile lands of our beloved South Murahn have fallen bitter and ill! Northern foe sink deep beneath their triumphs! Will you die by the hands of Obrus envious circle! Or shall you die without fear and hunger within your soul! Come brethren! All need not be fearful of iron that calls, is it not iron and blood that shall bring forth victories of might and beauty! To be rid of Arcadian dogs and filthy rampaging savagery that tears at the Obruan glory! Let us be set free by the winds and the currents of the great Calligia!"
The Seer of Obru pleads fiercely to the Flendelring Tribe; a thin sliver of land along the coast of South Teneva. It lies depleted, weak, and without purpose by a foolish South Murahn. In these ancient times, all are desperate for lands fertile enough to carry a realm that shall be the very recipe for the Land of Kings and Emperors, an age of great imperialism, an age of sanctuary, but not for many centuries to come. Teneva, ravaged by Arcadian tribes, it is flaring in chaos after the fall of South Murahn. Seventeen years of war raged, and Flendelring, a pathetic group of ex slaves and fallen warriors has had the will to survive to tell this tale. The Seer of Obru is an old and wicked woman whos hair has grown long, thick and gray. It is matted with dirt, water and blood after countless attempts on her life by those who claim her to be a foul witch. She wears a long, gray and tattered cloak that was once long and white. Now it is short and rather dingey. She stands atop a redwood log and speaks out toward a mere four thousand survivors of Tenevas haunting plague. Far too early on in the history of our world, this plague could have fully halted the rise of human civilization. Flendelring stands in silence and shock as if the Seer speaks of a new founded magic. "It would be a voyage that may last months. Our brethren carry the strength to fend off the plague, here in Teneva, and only Teneva." The Tribes have held altercations on extending boundaries to Astrunovia for many years. The old Seer held a will stronger than any man on the face of Teneva. She felt such greatness to come before all if the richness of Astrunovia is shared. She raises her fists in fury. "Do you not hold the will and courage of your elders! A journey long fought with great sacrifice is always met with the fortunes blessed by our universe! By the Sun! Let us gather beneath a burning light of flame and ash and transcend ourselves beneath the light of purity and of prosperity upon the high hills of the Realm of Iron!" Her words shattered fiercely into the hearts of the tribal men, women, and children. The raw voice of a Seer has been greatly sought for since her death. The bravery and wisdom that comes from such chants and echoing words gave the Flendelring Tribe the strength of heart to cross a bombastic Calligian Sea. Before the tribe set to leave the roaring continent of Teneva, great weapons are forged by the blood and bone of devoted Tenevan men. One hundred great ships were raised to carry the birth of Astrunovia across the water, and an army stood firm. Although tired and hungry, but restless and eager to reach the cold edge of the Iron Realms shores."

The Wise words of an Old Allirian King

The Arrival of the Allirian Union

An imperial ambition everlasting...

"This world wakes gloriously amid a triumphant creation. The mystery of everlasting life flourishes, and in turn, the continents carry divided peoples, unbound and free... Nature takes a course of rogue and silent direction. The vigor of Terra, Luna, and Sol draw the peoples unbound into an age of great darkness. As shadows run deep into the hills and valleys, a light flickers not only with pride, but with strength and wisdom, and amongst the cries of the dark ages of the towering Alliance of Dictators, the light brings forth a new order. Then all who gaze upon the glowing crimson crown and star feel a cold wind...With a scent of fire...With the scent of iron, blood, and bone. To be embraced and to be cleansed with a unity that the world will tremble far beneath as the union emits a cry..of beauty, strength, authority, wisdom...And before the crimson banner is raised to purge the dark age, before the bells chime, before the pounding of the drums, and the cry of Karullans warriors,
natures course shatters, and her voice trembles beneath the ice of the iron south...
Alliria...Alleistiarahs Union...the sun shifts and the moon shines. The Crimson Age has arrived to the Alliance of Dictators..."

- King Eiostel I. Almighty Emperor of the Allirian Empire. King of Allistair Union.

Sanctuary Point wrote:The ground breaking set off an alarm in the closest guardhouse. While it was known that the Diamond Dogs here were not quite the savage and opportunistic raiders they were back in their own reality, the Diarchal ponies kept a watchful eye on the canines and that included seismic monitors around the edges of patrol routes to catch possible underground incursions. With the sensor tripped, the local detachment of the Guard sent out two squads to investigate the disturbance and like with any other potential threat, they were loaded for bear. An armoured carrier rolled towards the group of storage building, the ponies within wearing ceramic plate vests and armed with a mix of lasrifles and shotguns.

With their keen ears, the Diamond Dogs inside the storage building heard the approach of the Diarchal forces before a sentry posted at the door saw them. These were professional mercenaries however: instead of panicking, the Diamond Dogs inside kept assembling the device while more armed mercenaries began to pour up from the hole, which was quickly expanded to allow them to bring in heavier equipment. In the moments they had before the arrival of their enemies, they fortified the entrance and surrounded the building, setting up portable bullet proof shields around it. Most of the mercenaries were armed with assault rifles or shotguns, but a few carried light anti-tank weapons. A heavy machine gun was set up behind the barricaded entrance. A few Diamond Dogs climbed to the roof of the building and began assembling a light AA gun.

Since it was clear that their stealthy operations had failed, the leader of the mercenaries called in for heavier backup he had been holding back until now. More seismic monitors went off as something big started to approach from the Northeast, tunneling through the ground...

"What was that?" Pearlescent asked when she heard the first sounds of gunfire and explosions. This sounded different from the earlier artillery fire. Shield immediately stepped between the noblemare and the sounds of fighting, ready to defend his charge.

Sanctuary Point wrote:“Elysian, yes. It is the language of the Pegasopolis sector and its worlds. It developed, like so many others, during the Great Dark Age when the nascent United Equine Alliance was shattered by a great warp storm.” Alula lead them inside, skirting around an intricate diorama of two great armies of Pegasi in what looked a lot like Cloudsdale to Rainbow and the Equestrians. “What I am using to speak to you is referred to as Common, this language was crafted by the Divine Sisters Themselves to be easily learned by any equine of the Diaspora.” Alula explained as they walked further in, passing two saluting guards to fly up a shaft leading to catwalks that gave them a view over a number of classes.

"The interdimensional rules sure are... weird," Rainbow said. She attempted to scratch her head but was prevented from doing so by her helmet. She let out a small annoyed grunt and continued, "We call our language... your Common... 'Equestrian', but when the dimensional barrier that had separated us from the rest of the world disappeared after the Demon Invasion, we found out that it is spoken in many Human nations as well. However, they call it 'English'. It's supposedly a naturally develpoed language. I think Twi... Her Immortal Ladyship has some theories about how all this is possible, but she has never made them public. Ahem."

The General and her entourage landed on a catwalk and observed the ongoing classes below without saying anything.

Westbeech wrote:Erwie dropped her salute then jumped off the vehicle. She walked right up to Escoro and smirked. "Erwie Romen. General staff of Westbeech. In charge of general provisions and the Armored Corps. I'm sorry for holding you all up, but I wanted to welcome you to your new position in Westbeech. We are certain that your time here will be short and hospitable." She looked at the sergeant in her command vehicle, who quickly got out and approached the two holding a case. When the sergeant arrived, Erwie gripped the case, patted the sergeant on the shoulder, and turned back to the Vespergalian officer. "In here is more vital information. Units in the area, where your men will be stationed in the town, and information on the unit that will be staying here with your's."

The command vehicle drove away and one of the tanks opened up a road. From there came a squad of guard infantry along with two squads of regulars. They quickly gathered into three ranks behind Erwie and saluted. "Would you please bring any other officers or NCOs commanding units here. I think it's important that they speak with each other to best improve the situation. Who knows, they might be able to share something vital to you, your unit, or the entire front."

Escoro took the case, examining it briefly before passing it to the officer of his left, "Thank you." The summoning of all of his officers seemed unnecessary to him, but he didn't want to disrespect a Westbeechian general with a refusal. Even though they weren't planning to be in the area very long. Just enough time to set up preparations for the divisions that would be deployed to the area from the army. He turned his head to his side, "Captain, have all the other officers assemble here." The captain nodded and moved back to the jeep, accessing the built-in radio and contacting all the trucks down the line. One by one some men and women left their vehicles, a mass of a few dozen officers approaching. Loosely forming up behind Escoro.

"Northern command continues to fail to organize themselves. They have factory line workers commanding entire divisions and they continue to lack officer training. You must make it evident that we can outdo the North by utilizing the training our officers and troops have had. The North also doesn't have the capability to maintain their military in the short term. If you can convince the others to renew an offensive in the West, a breakthrough is certain. It might also lead to massive amounts of disorganization throughout their entire military as they attempt to reorganize a new defensive line."

The figure then turned back towards their car, and quickly left the scene. Schoener just shook his head. "At least we'll know that reintegration is possible. I guess there always will be meaning to 'Long Live the Dictator and Korban'".

The guards and regulars quickly broke ranks and started moving through the Vespergalians, directing different officers and NCOs to come with them. Westbeechian NCOs would gather Vespergalian NCOs and the officers would gather officers. The NCOs went towards the outskirts of town while the officers headed deeper into the city.

Erwie, upon watching the groups disperse, told Escoro, "Now please have the rest of your men be directed into the outskirts. This is not the best town to be set up in and I'm aware you won't be here for long, so we have an area where some of our units and your's will be kept together. Maybe the men can learn to fraternize and we can avoid major issues with integration." Another tank moved into an alleyway opening a path moving to the outskirts of the city. "I can assure you, your vehicles will be well taken care of wherever they are put. Every single one you have brought will be in the exact condition they were entering the town."

"What was that?" Pearlescent asked when she heard the first sounds of gunfire and explosions. This sounded different from the earlier artillery fire. Shield immediately stepped between the noblemare and the sounds of fighting, ready to defend his charge.

Black didn’t answer right away, listening to his soldiers report the incursion and his mother order more forces to the breach. “Dogs are attacking the outskirts, the savages.” He picked up his pace. “Come on, we’ll get you safe in the church and let my ponies get to work.”

Meanwhile, back at the warehouse, the second squad ducked behind concrete dividers and their disabled APC. A rocket had struck the track and thrown it off though the heavy bolter still worked, spraying down the gap in the doors that the first squad had opened, their bodies strewn about in front of it. Their foe let loose a stream of bullets from their emplacement as the surviving guardsponies fired back with their lasguns, launching lances of light at the mercenaries inside. The intense heat of their shots would vaporize flesh as cells bursted with expanding steam, making terrible wounds but also cauterizing the sites. Already, more Cragadile APCs were en route to join the battle, their engines roaring towards the gunfire as other guardsponies directed civilians away from the air and high in the sky, two Elysian Windigoes rocketed towards the growing skirmish.

“The mind of Alicorns are not for us to understand.” Alula replied, quoting some scholar she half-remembered from her service before directing her attention to what her guests were watching. The foals below paid no heed to their extra observers as they flew through the obstacle course, swerving in between cyclones generated by older cadets. “Basic maneuvering, each year has an iteration of it.” She said as she moved them further along, letting them see foals the usage of their bands, disassembling and reassembling lasrifles, and how to crew heavy bolters. Soon enough they arrived at a class of teens practicing CQC with the claws that Cpt. Lightning had and were about to move on again before the instructor below called out.

“HALT!” The stallion bellowed as the trainees stopped. “Cadet Sabre, front and centre.” He ordered as one of the class stepped out and flew up to the platform. “Yes, Drill Sergeant.” Sabre stood at attention as the instructor circled around her. “Assume first stance and take a swipe at me.” He ordered as Sabre reared up and held her claws out at shoulder level before winding back. The sergeant easily dodged and delivered a hard buck to Sabre’s left knee, shattering it with a crack as she fell to the floor. “As you can see, Sabre’s guard was held too high and her back was too stiff, preventing her from blocking or redirecting my strike. Your foes will not be as merciful as I. Make this mistake out there and you will die.” Medical staff moved in as the drill sergeant continued his lesson, carting the crippled Sabre away.

Federal Gospel Authority Holds 4th Annual Congress

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zNFduONf6Q

The Federal Gospel Authority is the ruling conglomeration of the Gospel Church of Caryton and serves as a second kind of cabinet alongside the main cabinet in the country, responsible for representing ecclesiastical affairs within the country and ensuring the Church's policies are correctly implemented. Dorothy Shirleyton serves as the current head of the Federal Gospel Authority and has called for their fourth annual meeting to be held in the second largest city of Abraham, conveniently across the massive freshwater Retriever Lake from Georgine. The meeting commenced at a leisurely 12:00 PM and lasted until a cozy 5:45 PM.

The first topic to be discussed would be the future of the Spiritual Republic of Caryton's economic model. Church authorities were consoled, and in a near unanimous decision, the nation voted to retain an agrarian economic model. Even despite likely diplomatic pressure from Artarum, it was decided that the nation's integrity of a farming state must be kept alive by the power of the church. However, it was recognized that this current rural-urban ratio was economically unsustainable. Using the model that if 50 percent or more of the population is farming-based, the nation is agrarian- the Gospel Church of Caryton issues a decree hoping to urbanize 30% of the population for industrial labor and to develop a handful of the hundreds of thousands of small towns into small cities- and to grow the population of strategic cities like Georgine. This statement would be released to support the tiny-house movement Dorothy Shirleyton established to do just that. It is hoped that this transition clears up much needed lands for family farms to grow and mechanize enough to be economically competitive in the global market while still retaining the simplistic life pushed for by the GCC.

The second item on the agenda would be the growth of the Joyful Prophecy Temperance Union. Seeing as the Spiritual Republic of Caryton is the only nation on the map to have (and successfully implement) a total state of prohibition, the representatives of the JPTU in the meeting would seek to spread the fight for temperance outside of the Carytonic sphere of influence. Resources would be better allocated to advocate for temperance against all things banned in Caryton's Prohibition Act in Zhongwangguo, attempting to popularize the fight for a dry state in the region. The JPTU would formally approach Artarum and Westbeech again with a different request- for the former country, an Artarumen Christian-based sister branch of the JPTU to advocate for prohibition. For the latter, a secular substance awareness foundation which serves to advocate for prohibition on a pragmatic level that appeals to the population of Westbeech. However, the mainstream JPTU remains deeply influenced by the GCC.

The third item on the agenda is the growth of the Gospel Church of Caryton. The Federal Gospel Authority would seek to double the amount of missionaries in circulation, expressing particular interest in missions in Zhongwangguo, and a formal request to send missionaries to the state of Vespergale and Island Zero. A debate on approaching Artarum about removing the GCC's alleged 'heretic' status was defeated in fear of tensing already cordial relationships.

Going forward, the FGA moves for youth outreach to consolidate the church for younger generations.

For Lilie, the JPTU approaching was slightly insulting. However, she was well aware it was the societal differences that made their approach reasonable. Her response to the request was the statement alcohol had never been an issue and many Westbeechians had never drank a single drop of alcoholic beverage in their lives. She did, however, offer that if they still very much wish to open up a program, they may do so under Westbeechian oversight, with officials supervising all programs and interactions in Westbeech. While she declared this openly, she also added, "Should anything in these programs be deemed something that can threaten the authority or strength of the Westbeechian government or undermine the principles of the Westbeechian way of life, the program will be instantly shut down and all members of the JPTU will be given a fair period of time to move away."

The Joyful Prophecy Temperance Union would be glad to coordinate with the Westbeechian government in establishing a sister temperance organization according to the values of the population. The JPTU would announce the foundation of the Westbeechian Council on Addiction Mindfulness (WCAM) which would appeal to the secular population with raw data on addiction and recovery measures. Aside from a few GCC-believing representatives of the JPTU who would merely be there for regulation and coordination purposes (who the JPTU would make very clear that they have no influence), the WCAM would be comprised entirely out of Westbeechian pro-prohibition activists insistent on clearing the country of addiction to alcohol, drugs, pornography, etc.

Already, more Cragadile APCs were en route to join the battle, their engines roaring towards the gunfire as other guardsponies directed civilians away from the air and high in the sky, two Elysian Windigoes rocketed towards the growing skirmish.

The Diamond Dogs had fairly good defensive positions but their enemies had better firepower and the numbers on their side. Despite their attempts to minimize casualties, over a dozen Dogs outside the building were killed during the first ten minutes of the battle, their portable bullet shields woefully insufficient to protect them from the heavy bolter of the disabled APC. Two of the Dogs manning the heavy machine gun by the entrance had also been killed, but their replacements quickly took over, spraying fire at any Novumequines that dared approach the entrance head on. As more reinforcements arrived from the expanded hole, they brought in more equipment and specialists including six nimble Dogs armed sniper rifles who took positions atop stacked storage crates that allowed them to reach the windows of the building to pin down enemy forces and pick off careless targets.

The squad leaders ordered the warriors armed with anti-tank weapons to finish off the APC, but more were on the way and the arrival of the Windigoes caught the Dogs by surprise. Their weapons killed several of the defenders, but the AA cannon on the roof of the building was now fully assembled and opened fire when the Windigos were about to make their next dive.

Though they fought bravely, the Diamond Dogs were starting to be overwhelmed. But then the second seismic disturbance reached the site of the battle. The ground burst open under the Novumequine vehicles that were making their way towards the storage building and something huge emerged, crushing an APC in its tripartite jaw. Black tentacles shot out from the creature's maw and grabbed several unfortunate Ponies, pulling them in to be consumed alive.

A fully grown Tatzlwurm had joined the battle.

*

"A Tatzlwurm?!" Pearlescent breathed out in surprise. She, Shield and Black had almost reached the church when the Wurm arrived. Though the battle was far away, the gargantuan creature's roars could easily be heard and when it rose from the ground, its ugly head towered over most buildings. Pearlescent continued, "I've never heard of the Diamond Dogs using tamed Tatzlwurms but the Unicorn Beastmasters employed by the Equestrian Army have learned to mind control them with magic! Just who are these attackers? Could they be my Father's henchmen?"

Sanctuary Point wrote:“The mind of Alicorns are not for us to understand.” Alula replied, quoting some scholar she half-remembered from her service before directing her attention to what her guests were watching. A couple of Rainbow's guards winced slightly at the audible crack of Sabre's shattering knee, but the General herself managed to keep her face stoic. She had implemented some pretty brutal training regimes herself for her Shadowbolt elite guards and the special forces of the Equestrian Army, but injuries this severe were still relatively rare. Of course, she thought, the medical technologies of the Novumequines were probably far better than the Equestrian's, at least if their other technologies were any indication. Only exceptionally skilled Unicorns who specialized in healing magic could prevent a soldier with a shattered knee from spending weeks in a hospital.

"Cadet Sabre handled her injury quite well," Rainbow observed to Alula when the medics had carted the unfortunate Pony away. "Pain is often a useful teacher though severe injuries have the nasty side effect of removing soldiers from active service for a long time unless skilled Unicorns or the latest magitechnology are available. I take it you can heal her quickly so she can resume her training?"

The request to send missionaries was swiftly denied, citing the Fontransi Truth Act that bans all forms of Christianity. The Christian faith was seen as dangerous and undermining of Vespergalian culture and values. Caryton was warned not to attempt spreading the faith to Vespergale's neighbors on Otenia to prevent the tainting of the continent.

It made Seele sad and also furious. Sad that sweet Anne had fallen prey to such a demon, her beautiful eyes marred like that. And furious for a spawn of hell's eyes were staring at him.

Seele gripped the wooden crucific with the silver Jesus nailed to it, which he wore around his neck, and tore it off, now holding it in his hand. At the same time he slowly approached Anne, his voice soothing as he said:

"Poor Anne...have no fear...soon this nightmare will be all over and our Lord and Father will welcome you back among his herd and into his loving arms. Soon the darkness will be made to retreat in the face of our Lord's purifying light. Come, have no fear for if there is still a piece of Anne in you, the loving wife of Jack and devout believer of the Lord rather than the foul demon and murderer of Jack, you will seek this light."

His skeletal hands gripped both his walking stick as well as his crucifix tighter as he raised the latter before him and continued approaching Anne, trying to back her into a corner. Meanwhile he kept his walking stick at the ready to whip it upward with its tip should the demon try to assail him, hopefully impaling it on it. Seele wasn't quite sure if he could still pull such a stunt of with his advanced age but by the Lord he would try.

For every step Seele took towards her, she retreated one back. Circling around the table on her hands and feet. Afraid of the creepy old man outstretching a stick towards her, speaking in what sounded like some form of garbled buzzing. She didn't feel like she could run anywhere, he'd just find her in another room. And, she was frightened of the outside. So she steeled herself, raising herself from the ground slightly. Hunched over like a runner about to make a sprint. The cornered rat bearing her teeth, aiming the knife towards Seele's torso. Then, with her mouth agape, screaming, she darted forward. Intent on impaling the pastor's heart.

The lunge towards him was almost as over as quickly as it had started. Her knife clattering as it bounced on the floor. Her desperately clawing towards him, but unable to reach. His staff having pierced her chest, keeping her at bay. Anne growled before panting and falling to the ground, dislodging the now blood-tipped staff from her. She rolled around, coughing sickly. Blood dripping from her mouth and as she desperately grasped the wound and scratched at her own throat. A terrified expression cast across her face. The staff had squeezed between her ribs, just enough to poke a hole in her lungs. Leaving her writhing on the floor as blood crawled up her esophagus. Making it harder to breath with every passing second.

The Queendom of Vespergale

Westbeech wrote:The guards and regulars quickly broke ranks and started moving through the Vespergalians, directing different officers and NCOs to come with them.

This perceived farce was quickly draining old Escoro, who briefly looked back to the long line of vehicles with every unit's NCOs and officers snatched away. None of the privates had handheld radios, aside from personnel manning armored vehicles. He quietly turned to one of his staff ordering, "Take the car and go down the line, get all of the privates into the outskirts." When the officer went off to do what was told, he turned his attention back to the Westbeechian general. "Ma'am I don't think worrying about integration will be necessary, we'll only be here a few days along with some engineers to establish a headquarters and staging grounds." Though he wanted to say more, he didn't want to cause an incident with Westbeech.
