Yes, he is.

Side note: Rusticus Damianus, I'm going to reactivate my philosophy nation and start making theological dispatches. Which one would you want me to write on?

I've seen a lot of Athiests on X saying that God is an evil murderer. So maybe something about that?

X is unusable since that anime mascot controversy thingy.

I don't know what they mean about God being an evil murderer though. Do they use the innocent babies argument?

A Catholic theologian talking about how Trump would win in a landslide.

Yep. Something along those lines.

I mentioned it in one of my premises of an old dispatch I made. It's basically: natural evil inherently exists in the universe, we are part of the universe, therefore, we are vulnerable to natural evil. And that natural evil, sadly, just so happens to be the death of an innocent baby.

My argument is that we're so depraved that we all deserve to die, and it's only because of God's mercy, grace, and love that he withholds smiting us all, like we deserve.

Then how do you corelate that men are God's children if they are so bad that they deserve to die by Gods hand? It sounds like paradox

What if a Judge's son commits murder, and the penalty for murder is death? Does the law still apply, regardless of the relationship between the Judge and his son?

“But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and he will stand upon the earth at last. And after my body has decayed, yet in my body I will see God! I will see him for myself. Yes, I will see him with my own eyes. I am overwhelmed at the thought!

Of course it applies, but i think this is false equivalent because we are talking about the Eternal God, the Creator

It still applies to him.

The Empire of Rusticus Damianus

Please listen, O Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph’s descendants like a flock. O God, enthroned above the cherubim, display your radiant glory to Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh. Show us your mighty power. Come to rescue us! Turn us again to yourself, O God. Make your face shine down upon us. Only then will we be saved. O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies, how long will you be angry with our prayers? You have fed us with sorrow and made us drink tears by the bucketful. You have made us the scorn of neighboring nations. Our enemies treat us as a joke. Turn us again to yourself, O God of Heaven’s Armies. Make your face shine down upon us. Only then will we be saved. You brought us from Egypt like a grapevine; you drove away the pagan nations and transplanted us into your land. You cleared the ground for us, and we took root and filled the land. Our shade covered the mountains; our branches covered the mighty cedars. We spread our branches west to the Mediterranean Sea; our shoots spread east to the Euphrates River. But now, why have you broken down our walls so that all who pass by may steal our fruit? The wild boar from the forest devours it, and the wild animals feed on it. Come back, we beg you, O God of Heaven’s Armies. Look down from heaven and see our plight. Take care of this grapevine that you yourself have planted, this son you have raised for yourself. For we are chopped up and burned by our enemies. May they perish at the sight of your frown. Strengthen the man you love, the son of your choice. Then we will never abandon you again. Revive us so we can call on your name once more. Turn us again to yourself, O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies. Make your face shine down upon us. Only then will we be saved.

It actually necessitates the punishment, in fact. For God is Justice, therefore in order for God not to contradict Himself, He has to punish us for our sins.
