Theory:

Meteorite is actually a piece of tutankhamen's home planet that was destroyed during a galactic war.

Another theory. King Tut's dagger was forged from the meteor that killed him, it struck him in the back of the head and he died. to honor him, a dagger was made.

Maybe, just maybe, I could somehow spit in its eyes while it charges at me. That might make it crash into a wall and break its leg. At which point perhaps it gets immobilized by its own weight, or at least crippled enough for me to outpace. Let exhaustion from the pain take it out.
