The Eternal Archprincedom of Thiranaedh | The Archprince of Thiranaedh would like to inquire whether activating and de-activating war fleets and sending them to the far side of the world and back is helping the empire refill the imperial coffers. He congratulates the new conservative government on its foreign policy victories and prudent economic management so far. He hopes that his own country, barbaric and backwards as it is, could learn a thing or two about their gloriously effective byzantine shock and awe tactics. As the Imperial navy sails back home, the Thirana coast guard escorts them again, sending the same radio telecommunications involving:

The Most Serene Kingdom of Royal Genes | I made a new sea route map The Trade routes of Meillur follow the sea routes of merchant vessels. These routes reflect the relative density of shipping on the high seas. Dotted lines represent vital choke point in trade that fall under the territorial of one or more nation(s). The maritime borders in Meillur. While there has never been a full formal continent wide treaty regulating where maritime borders end or begin, common following has been that territorial waters extend out to twelve nautical miles while exclusive economic zones extend as far as 220 nautical miles. However the vagueness of these practices has resulted in rough drawing of maritime borders, often with overlapping claims and subject to changes in the future.
The Kingdom of Hospean Border Islands | That training exercise has been scheduled since last year. Don't know what you're talking about.
The Kingdom of Hospean Border Islands | A few hours after the statement from the Caesarean State, the king of Hospe held a televised address. A summary below: HRM King Jeffrey of Hospe commended the leadership of Caesarean State on withdrawing naval assets and their decision to opt for diplomatic methods. He assured the ministry that so long as the Imperial ships move expediently through Hospean waters, there will be no reason for the naval contingent led by the HMS Adversary to even take notice of Imperial vessels as they have only been deployed on a long delayed training exercise. As the head of state of Hospe and therefore, the official representative of Hospeanism, King Jeffrey went further to remind all people that so long as they are willing to conform to the nationality centered culture, Hospe is willing to accept people of all creeds and backgrounds and it is this acceptance that informs our foreign policy where we always seek the most peaceful option for all parties involved. Using this as a segue, a recruitment video from the Hospean Royal Navy began to play. _________________________________________________ The crew aboard the HRS Adversary and her frigate escorts lined up along their ships' rails to salute the gallant Thirana coast guard before continuing on their way to the South Keys.
The Celestial Empire of Kingdom of Derita | The Inama of the Celestial Empire is pleased to announce is the appointment of Andeja Ardales-Tyibilika, eldest brother of the Crown Princess, to serve as Envoy of the Celestial Empire to Imperia. Envoy Ardales-Tyibilika’s appointment comes as part of the push towards more diplomatic orientated normalization of relations both within Meillur and with nations beyond the continent. Ardales-Tyibilika previously served as Prefect of Gaosa, a position now held by his younger brother Stephan Ardales-Tyibilika. While some see the appointment as a measure to smooth the rocky relationship that has existed between the Celestial Empire and Imperia since the end of the Boguilan Crisis, others have taken the appointment as an affirmative of the Celestial Empire’s role as Imperia’s leash. The newly appointed Envoy spoke only to say that his mission is focused on building up the relationship between the Celestial Empire and Imperia in order to “prevent further missteps.” “The Celestial Empire’s position has always been, and shall always be that of Protector and Defender of the continent of Meillur. It is a position we hold with great humility and even greater sense of duty. It is high time that we remind the world that,” included the Envoy in his bold comments. “We remain dedicated to the true issue at hand, arm and arm with our Lejiran brothers and sisters in the abolition of the Thiranae practice of slavery and the apartheid government that it upholds. We look now to find recourse in the diplomatic process— but the Celestial Empire stands at the ready to take any and all course of action needed to destroy that evil practice and its perpetrators… completely… and totally.”
The Embassy of Imperia in Meillur | The Caesarean State extends the invitation to the diplomats of Lejira and the Mastiffite Kingdom was well as any other Meilluran state, seeing it as an opportunity to gather all stakeholders in one place instead of a series of uncoordinated meetings.

The Kingdom of Lejira | Royal Statement from His Majesty King Aymon IX of Lejira To the people of Lejira, and to the nations of the world, It is with great dismay that I address the recent actions taken by my cousin, King Jeffrey of Hospe, regarding the salutation of the Thirana coast guard by the crew aboard the HRS Adversary and her frigate escorts. As reported, these Hospean ships, upon passing through the waters near Thiranaedh, chose to honor the coast guard of that state with a display of military respect by lining up along their rails in salute. This gesture, though surely intended as a mark of politeness or professional courtesy, betrays a grievous misstep in diplomatic sensibility and an alarming disregard for the historical injustices perpetrated by Thiranaedh against the people of our land and others. Thiranaedh, as we know, remains mired in a legacy of slavery and an apartheid regime that has systematically oppressed and marginalized countless innocent lives for generations. The institutions of such a government should never be dignified with any form of recognition or honor by those who stand for justice, equality, and human dignity. I, as the sovereign of Lejira, must make it clear that such an action is neither acceptable nor aligned with the values of our great nation. The legacy of oppression carried by Thirana should never be whitewashed with the false sheen of respectability. To salute the representatives of such a regime is to turn a blind eye to the suffering of millions who have endured the consequences of its vile policies. Lejira and Thiranaedh have long stood as adversaries, not out of mere political discord, but because the values we hold dear—freedom, justice, and human dignity—are fundamentally incompatible with the apartheid state that the Thirana government continues to uphold. It is my sincere hope that King Jeffrey will reconsider this display, and that he will understand the harm done by such overtures of courtesy to a regime that has long been an enemy to the causes of liberty and equality. I urge the people of Hospe to reflect upon the dignity of all peoples and to recognize the importance of aligning their actions with the principles of justice that we all strive to uphold. Lejira will continue to stand firm in its opposition to the apartheid government of Thiranaedh. We will not allow the saluting of their representatives—nor the dignification of their brutal system—to go unchallenged. This is not a time for diplomatic courtesy at the expense of moral clarity. Let the message be clear: Lejira will not falter in its commitment to fight for a world free from tyranny, oppression, and injustice.
The Eternal Archprincedom of Thiranaedh | Delighted by this most cordial invitation, the Archprincedom intends to send their most decorated dustman in the nation as their delegate. We expect the dustman to be given official recognition and diplomatic immunity, as extended to any other Meilluran state present. Given that Constantinople in particular and the Caesaran State in general is regarded as a heaping pile of rubbish, he should feel right at home.
The Embassy of Imperia in Meillur | The Caesarean State strongly rejects the Archprincedom's attendance of the summit. The dustman is sent back to Thiranaed.

The Kingdom of Hospean Border Islands | HRM King Jeffrey of Hospe was aware that Lejira is such a repressive state, the parliament was razed down in favour of a statue of the monarchy. Are these brave men and women who willingly lay down their lives for their country not allowed to acknowledge the vessel of a neighbouring country? Or after their willful acceptance of the sacrifice in joining the armed forces, should they recieve orders down to the seconds of the day? Is Imperia in Meillur aware that they aim to establish a partnership with such an oppressive regime? In Hospe, our laws are made by a parliament consisting of the people who said laws will affect. Not an out of touch absolute monarchy who somehow see themselves as avatars of liberation yet believe a soldier should not pay his or her respects to another, if foreign serviceman.
The Kingdom of Hospean Border Islands | Would they mind marrying a lowly Hospean ducal prince?
The Grand Kingdom of Riessany | Princess Raella may not mind. She is more doesn’t like all the royalty stuff and hullabaloo. Preferably whoever she marries comes moves to Riessany. Princess Adelaide and Princess Alara are just the opposite. She want to marry high ranking princes or a king.
The Kingdom of Hospean Border Islands | Several Hospean media outlets have lambasted the Caesarean State for discriminatory practices.
The Grand Kingdom of Riessany | On second thought, Hospe isn’t a a good option given the current situation.
The Eternal Archprincedom of Thiranaedh | The Imperium's decision to remove the Thirana delegate shows that their summit is an exclusionary affair where some stakeholders are refused on categorically arbitrary grounds. The "any other Meilluran state" and "all stakeholder" bits of their invitation are invalid, and the Caesaran State should be ashamed to retract their invitation, which quite obviously applied to Thiranaedh's delegate as well. It asks other states in Meillur to see the talks for what they are: an illegitimate cartel, where nations with direct interests are excluded on unfounded and unexplained grounds, serving as a disguise to mask the Imperium's illegitimate grabs for power in south-west Meillur. Thiranaedh demands that the poor dustman, who had already gotten on a fisherman's trawler headed towards Contantinople, receive a full and official apology from the Caesaran Head of State. It also remarks that it is fully willing to attend any diplomatic talks, should the rest of the continent regard them to be necessary. However, Thiranaedh recognises that the Caesaran State is a threat to the security of all Meilluran states, and that such talks should only include Meilluran nations, as those talks only concern Meilluran affairs. Thiranaedh regrets that their neighbours to the south have become so soft as to whine over something as benign as a sail-by salute. Many Okhéiæ in the nation's capital remark that the nation they once had a long-standing rivalry with has mellowed to the point that they degrade the memory of their ancestors by "crying their eyes out" over a subject most of the continent simply shrugs at. Furthermore, it shows the fact that Lejiran politicians think they know better than military officers in the field, which in and of itself shows that their nation's moral fibre has decayed to a point of great embarassment. General Okhéia sentiments show appreciation for the HRS Adversary's captain's decision to salute their coast guard, but there has not been an official government response from Bælakfèr. To Thiranaedh's government, the sail-by salute simply did not happen. Thiranaedh is a neutral and independent state, and merely did what it had to do to protect its territorial waters. It is more than content to remain as it is now, and doesn't feel the need to align itself with any other power, knowing that alliance politics like this will only add fuel to the flames ignited by the Caesaran State and their lackies in Lejira. Finally, the Okhéiæ claim that Lejira's softness can also be observed in their needlessly-long communiqué over, again, a handful of military vessels doing nothing wrong at all. Thiranaedh's response is short and crisp: "Aymon and his illegitimate, harsh regime have no right to point fingers." he declares, referring to Lejira's autocratic and inhumane government and its history of human rights abuses.
The Kingdom of Hospean Border Islands | The way the Hospean monarchy works is that in theory it's elective with four ducal houses that can offer up leaders but in practice, it's been one house, The Fairbanks all the way because the other houses hate each other too much to vote another house. But marrying the heir of one of these houses guarantees you get a bit of sovereign territory and a percentage of the GDP so I'll put them slightly ahead of regular Dukes. Does that change anything? Well, then. I bet they're not even that pretty.
The Embassy of Imperia in Meillur | Would any of them be willing to move to Imperia? If they marry an Imperial Prince they would receive an Arch/Grand ducal title as well as the Imperial Style and title. The Children of an Emperor (including Empress Julia I Augusta's Brothers) also have the additional title of Caesar and rights to extensive Imperial Estates and are often called up for Military, Diplomatic, and Administrative Mandates and so they have a lot of political power and influence. And the Caesarean Dynasty has extensive wealth (The treasure fleet for Zeida) and the Royal House of Reissany would be considered members of the Imperial Clan by marriage and so Imperia would be obliged to assist the Reissans in Military, Economic, and Political Matters when called.
The Embassy of Imperia in Meillur | Imarati, Giorgi Elenzade is the same age as the Empress. Would he be willing to marry the Empress of Imperia and become Imperial Consort? |
