Do you guys this this game/forum game is dying out? Because the more time goes on, I see either people leave a lot or doesn't really log back on.

The Republic of Star Federation

(Sorry this is out of the blue)

NS is suffering a database error rn so better hurry this up.

I became Delegate 6 days ago. The government will change rapidly until I find the right government ministers. I will attempt to post updates on the rmb but you should check out the gameplay thread. I go into more detail and cover more things.

My wish (no promises) is to connect more with the regions that are left out. Maybe even events too! Send me a TG if you are interested in hosting an event. We will invite you too to ours! We want ambassadors to join our discord found on our WFE.

Please post updates on our discord or rmb somewhat regularly. Not that frequently but atleast try :)

As always, have a great day.

(OOC Perhaps among other things it's that this type of game is barebone, it is more relying in their community to create the content and being more purely mental in the form of written word for creating worlds or nations to play plus being in many ways an exercise in creative writing. In sort, it is more mentally demanding that a conventional game where things are more handed down. Considering the flood of options in the screens to spend free time and the added weight of other concerns it is not an unreasonable conclusion to reach that this kind of play may be not in vogue anymore. Just my two cents).

The Obesotocracy of Treadwellia

Tubbius the Rotund is tired. He slept poorly again after fighting the laundry machines last night. Tubbian laundry always takes lots of time to wash and dry.

true, you can kinda see it with the Lazarus RP life cycle:

> RP gets popular and many nations join
> The RMB is filled with posts and the usual RPers start planning a war
> The war never starts and the RP dies

We were too focused on trying to fight. Maybe if we tried to focus on peace and politics and not fighting and reliving the older rps that happened we'd not be in this cycle.

Perhaps some of the problem is as you pointed the tendency to simply going to war, and playing nearly RL level they tend to be somehow similar. Another way is the some occasional posts of daily life, like updates on the nations (as some players do) or like Treadwellia making a Leader/Character with a like of its own and giving it life with slice of life commentary.

Which is quite logical given that mostly we are in a RP writing stories and those are primary character-driven. In fact given the emphasis of the game on personal "action" from the given player/head of state this kind of playing is for the mechanics of the game greatly encouraged. Of course the logical conclusion is to make then oustanding from the rest mainly three options: a) Larger than life figure b) Carbon copy of some RL to make it stick as "realistic" c) The cute or quirky one.

True, also the Division Alpha recaps which I recently started doing again, despite not being part of a specific RP, still adds a bit of lore to make Snestar a bit more alive

Though yeah we have yet to figure out an RP formula that sticks for a good amount of time

The Obesotocracy of Treadwellia

Tubbius the Immense is happy as He snugly ties the sash of The Suit around His big belly and tugs on the accompanying white gloves. Everything still fits despite His gains over the year!

Granted, the Tubbius Magic subtly takes care of such concerns, stealthily altering all garments as He tries worming and wriggling into them, from socks and underwear to trousers, shirt, coat, hat, and gloves. Even the frames of His eyeglasses sneakily adjust to best fit His ears and bulbous shnozz.
