The Federal government of Surainion was at this point very inept to stop any attempts by Equestria towards landing forces directly within the country and seizing it over by effective blackmail; the government was unable to mount an effective political response other than a few condemnations by the International Relations Council, and Hegemonic aligned local governments were often pleased by such happenings, supporting their new overlords with glace and glory. However, the administration of Surainion is segmented for good (and perhaps poor) reason.

While the feds were unable to do anything, provincial administrations and the Military Council were still active and had armed forces at the ready to repel any attack. The Military was very concerned with its position in any new Hegemonic-aligned regime which slaved to Equestria for all defensive purposes; the states meanwhile knew they would be politically sidelined in favor of increased centralization and less-xenophobic leaders, an absurdity which managed to align both Dwebwen's xeno supremacists with Juno's human ones. They were completely outraged at the fact that foreign vessels were trying to land within the country and took immediate steps to counter it. In an emergency meeting by the Military Council and several regional leaders, particularly outside of Surainion State, within the Caucansia region's capital of Conraven. While directly blowing up the ships, proposed by Shanxi, Juno, and Boron, was very popular among the leaders, they decided it was ultimately too risky. Carpet bombing James Adam's entire rally to murder all of his supporters was proposed by M^6, but it was shot down as terribly immoral. Instead, redirective shielding technology, nominally used to just guide Surainion's weaponry, was decided to be to could block Equestrian troops from being able to land. They needed quite a few Glassscorchers per ship in order to keep up any ship's sheer mass, but the military was ready to supply. The Military launched a combined arms offensive by air, land, and sea against Hegemonic-aligned militas within the intercities, knocking them out by confronting them directly with the military and ambushing them from behind with human and xeno supremacist militas, which had obtained supplies imported at market price from across the galaxy. Militas then were offered retreat into the wastelands of the desert or into less important ghettos, which the disorganized forces took rather than face the far more organization Surainian military. Though they were still ready to retaliate, and casualties were high, it was a major victory. Once in control of all urban regions and successfully blocking ships with shields, M^6 issued an edict across the entire country, claiming that the preservation of Surainion and its governmental system was the top priority of the armed forces, and that no foreign force would be allowed to land on Surainion soil.

Equestria realising that it would look terrible if blood was shed would begin removing the militias, since they had only been there to bolster and protect pro-Equestrian puppets, who now had their own security forces. James Adams would side with the Surainion people and make a calculated statement calling "Violent Annexation" immoral and "Against Equestrian Principles".

As the focus shifted from projecting military might to political gains, James Adams would begin seeking to gradually convert local governments to his side, in order to prepare for up and coming elections. He would continue with the usual spiel of a new order in Surainion, and would promise that if he was elected not a single foreign troop or militia would touch Surainion.

Realising that the armed forces would prove a strong ally, James Adams would also include promises to bolster up national defenses and improve them further to be more efficient and feared. Thus James Adams presented himself as fully Pro-Surainion, alientating him a bit from those who had moved to put him into Surainion in the first place. However, the Equestrian government still had control over the situation. Those militias who had engaged in violence would be imprisoned and handed over to Surainion for trial at the request of James Adams, who would use this as a way to show his skill at brokering international deals to improve Surainion.

The Soviets?
Equestria would be taken off-guard by the sudden Soviet appearance in the country, although intelligence data had shown the Soviets to have begun initial operations sometime after Equestria engaged in the area. The National Security Council would ultimately give Equestrian troops the green-light to continue operations within the region as normal, albeit Equestria would ensure the Soviets knew that Equestria and The USSR were on the same side of the coin.

The Equestrian government would formally invite Premier Artyom to the city of Kyiv for a meeting with the Yazakh and Equestrian heads of state to discuss the offensive against the Untecnans. Seeing as both nations now were working in the same area.

After being told to land at the Boris Ivanovich Intergalactic Aeroport, from where he could see the city of Kyiv which seemed to be filled with ornate slavic style buildings mixed with traditional Appollonian structures, he would be driven to a small private mansion outside of Kyiv near Brovary, where he would be led to a patio where the 81 year old Ophelia, although for an equine she still appeared 20-25, and the 23 year old Tsar of Yazakhastan and the Eastern Territories, Shaddam Ivanovich.

2. The permittance from Columbia for Hegemonic forces to attempt to invade Untecna is a condemnable offense, and one that Julian must answer for.

3. The Queen's forces will not engage with Columbian forces, but shall legally be granted the right to block their entry into the cities they are attempting to hold in siege.

4. Columbian nationals residing in Untecna are no longer granted protections under Untecnan law, with the exception of diplomatic protections for embassy staff.

5. The Queen stands firm in her resolution to maintain land on Earth, in the effort of providing a greater front against a Salubrian threat.

The last portion of her decree was included to make clear that she was loyal to the IA, and not a Cosmocratic sympathizer. Ultimately, she would want for the Columbian occupation to end, and for Julian to be removed and replaced by a much calmer ruler, one who would not react as he wished.

Julian would look down at the decree surrounded by the Imperial High Command and Margret who was advising him. the Supreme Chancellor would also be in the Room, Julian would make the desicon. he stood up into the room demanding the attention of everyone in it.

The High Command salutes him, and Julian Storms out of the Room, meanwhile using Columbian Controls over the Untecan Broadcasting System. all inputs from the Palace or any other Untecan Insitution would be overided. and within an hour the following message would be played to all of Untenca. Every TV screen and Phone would blurt with this announcement. loud blares of the Columbian EAS. however they would sound more like the ones for military updates.

"The Strategic Coordination Center has issued a Law Enforcement Alert. your attention is demanded. The information included in this broadcast is imperative to all citizens of the Confederational Kingdom of Untneca, Under Royal Order #1, His Majesty Emperor of All Columbia, Julian has declared Martial Law in Untenca, Martial Law is a provisional rule imposed by the executive branch in times of National Emergency when established measures of substaning social order are no longer sufficient to restore law and order,

Repeat, this is a Law Enforcment Warning. the Untecan Millitary has been federalized and placed under the Command of the Imperial High Command, any commander who disobeys this order will be deemed an enemy of the state and will be charged with high treason under Columbian Law. any who abides is to surrender there arms and report to the nearest Columbian Commander for further orders from the High Command. the Columbian Military and Military Police will be deployed in Untenca to restore law and order. All laws protecting your rights and limiting unwanted arrest have been suspended until further notice, the Columbian Military will sweap and search all major cities. Every citizen is instructed to stay inside there home. any citizen who remains outside will be arrested and prosecuted to the highest extent of the law.

You are not permitted to leave your home unless you have received authorized clearance. The Federal Goverment has requested that the Untecan Govermnet head our directive or face being declared an enemy of the state and charged with high treason, a blackout of the Untecan Powergrid will under go for 48 hours past this warning, the FIB using the authority of the FNS Act of 2027 will monitor all communications made by any device or other means. these emergency laws are intended to be taken seriously.

Martial Law will be imposed until all anti-Columbian movements are crushed. and acts against the Columbian State cease and dessist. The Channel would then switch to a countdown until martial law, giving them 20 seconds to acknolowdge it before it went into effect, before the screen would would switch to simple information screen that would flash different reminders and play "The Army Goes Rolling Along", meanwhile the Columbian Royal Guard stationed outside the Archos Palace would begin to open fire on the Sakudares as a fleet of 10 Columbian Progentior Classses would appear above every major city in untenca and begin the orbital deployment of Military Forces while the Columbian Forces that where already outside of cities would charge into them at full speed. The Columbian Airforce would flood inform china to provide air support to the Operation. Irulan had made a mistake.
