After 2 weeks I’ve rewritten my first chapter of a story I hate to death

Ok I would like to apologize to the leader of this region for all the trouble I caused and now that I am thinking about it, I was acting childish and immature. Even though our embassies are closing, I just wanted to apologize because I have been feeling guilty. You can ban this account and suppress the post after this but I just don’t want to feel like a scum of a human being and I don’t want you to think of me as a scum of a human being. Hopefully you accept my apology. We don’t have to be embassies after this

I think this region seems nice.

Reminds me of something said about Gypsies in Real Life. I don't wanna sound pedantic, it's a historical event I'd like to share.
There was this Spanish classical musician called Andrés Segóvia, a revivalist of musical styles and instruments.
One day he said he'd "rescue the guitar from the hands of Flamenco Gypsies".
That was a bit rude and arrogant, in my humble Iberian opinion. I ain't no Spaniard, Heaven forbid. I'm Portuguese. But I value tradition.

Yeah, that was a bit arrogant.

I'm not even close to Iberian tho lol.

My dad's an Asian (Chinese) and my mom's a Latina (Mexican).

But she has more indigenous Central American than Spaniard (white) blood as a Mestiza Mexican.

Instrumental styles are as varied as vocal styles, I suppose. Who's to say what's better? I can't imagine Neil Diamond singing "La Favorita" any more than I can imagine Pavarotti singing "Sweet Caroline."

Can you imagine U2 and Pavarotti singing on the same song? It happened. Check out "Miss Sarajevo". Of course, Pavarotti sang in Italian...

I didn't know that and I checked it out. Pavarotti was amazing. One thing on my bucket list that's gone was to see him sing in person. I know someone who worked at the Casinos when he was to perform live there, and was invited to watch his rehearsal; he said it was beyond amazing to hear that voice.

I also had an elderly aunt who said she saw him at the Met in NYC before he was generally known, and because he had a romantic role, the audience snickered a bit when they saw this fat man--until they heard his voice.
