Dzierzynski and his small troop of elite Hauptabteilung XXII members went over the plan of the operation again. It seemed a bit extreme to Dzierzynski that the créme de la créme of the Stasi's Anti-terror unit was deployed against what seemed to be a simple computer geek hacking into the emergency system of the Stasi without any harmful intention. All he did was play the usual emergency broadcast on a routine day. It should occur to his misfortune the Stasi cancelled the emergency test due to maintenance work yesterday. The Minister for State Security himself ordered that Dzierzynski should take on this case as well. Perhaps he suspected a connection between the Stolen Crates and this Hacker. Perhaps he wanted to keep Dzierzynski busy. But to deploy a fully armed anti-terror unit made up of the best men the Stasi had to offer seemed a bit extreme either way. Dzierzynski made his way over to the truck holding all the technical equipment and ordered the technical operator to intercept the Hacker's phone microphone manually.

After a few moments, the Audio broadcast started and, with some crackling, started to play in Dzierzynski's earpiece. At first, it was hard to piece together what was being said, but quickly it seemed to be a part of a bedtime story. Dzierzynski ordered his men to engage according to an already prepared plan. After a TV show's sounds came through the earpiece, Dzierzynski gave the go. One of his men went to the door and ringed the Doorbell. After maybe two minutes, the door opened, a loud gunshot echoed through, but the earpiece and the air and the Agent got thrown backwards, and the door closed again. Almost in unison, Dzierzynski's troops cursed, ran to the utility truck and armed themselves. They then proceeded to break open the door and storm inside the house.

Dzierzynski listened to the sounds of minor fighting for a few moments. Then with a loud bang, the earpiece died. Dzierzynski left the truck and saw the House's windows shatter and flames burst of them. Dzierzynski ordered his men to withdraw, the technical operator to call the firefighters and then ran inside the house.

TNHM-NS, The North Hellenic Ministry of National Security, has come under a massive amount of criticism and controversy. Earlier today, a Neo-Nazi demonstration gathered in central Constanta, advocating for racial purity in North Hellenes. By law, the demonstrators had to be protected by the police. Although this demonstration was not popular and was quickly under harassment by several people, and as police failed to keep control of the situation, TNHM-NS called in riot police to protect the Neo-Nazis. Things escalated, and non lethal rounds were fired upon the harassers, at which point many of them broke off.
"No one in The North Hellenic Government is a Nazi sympathiser, but we have to protect everyone in our society, even if their beliefs are unpopular. Its a fundamental part of freedom of speech, and we have to hold onto that no matter the costs" says Sonia Vianu, head of the North Hellenic Government.

Statement from the President of the Danubian Socialist Confederation

The Central Committee has expressed concern over recent happenings in the North Hellenes. While Danubia recognises free speech as one of the paramount liberties of humanity, we must also take a realistic humanist approach to the issue, especially when views expressed are intended to cause harm to our communities.

As Danubian Philosopher, Karl Popper, once said; "Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them". That being, if we are to truly push for a free, tolerant society; then we must be intolerant of intolerance and the views that ultimately seek to destroy that free and tolerant society.

We especially express concern at the fact that shots were fired at protestors, lethal or not, which reminds many of the first Budapest revolution; where the imperial government fired on counter-protestors to a pro-imperial march, which ultimately lead to the people of Budapest rising up against their imperial oppressors. How can the police claim to be neutral and respecting free speech when they so clearly take one side in this so-called "debate".

While we push no accusation that the North Hellenic government supports nazis, fascists or any other ideology based on hate and division; we ask that the Hellenic government act on their word and implement restrictions son neo-nazi activities like many countries have done in the past.

WAR REPORT - GALICIA

The Intervention in Galicia Continues as multiple skirmishes occur between the Galician Forces and the Danuban Revolutionary Armed Forces as Danubia continues to establish contact with rebel groups throughout the Silesian Region.

Having Liberated the City of Újszandec, The 2nd Revolutionary Army Group under People's Marshall Jan Cermák moved north and marched into the City of Tarnau, recieving a similar celebration to that in Újszandec as the Majority German Population of the City welcomed their Danubian Liberators and the Galician Garrison fled to defend Krakow

The 1st Revolutionary Army Group under People's Marshall Leon Schwarz has broke off from this original occupation and is now moving in a spearhead to attempt to take teh city of Krakow, with much of the Galician Capitals supply lines now cut off by Danubian Forces and their rebel allies.

The city of Kędzierzyn-Koźle has fallen to the 3rd Revolutionary Army Group under Peoples Marshall Erika Nemes, who now prepare to reinforce the occupation of Katowice by Rebel Forces as well as capture the city of Opole from Galician forces, which if successful would cut off galician supply lines in the region and allow for a swift takeover of Western Galicia by Danubian Forces.

Protests in Egypt's poorer cities over new income taxes and relaxed labor laws

Feb 26, Fayoum - Protesters have taken to the street in Egypt's villages, towns and poor urban communities against the newly reformed tax income laws, which now puts a 10% tax on the lowest bracket of income, unlike the old income tax law which didn't tax the lowest income bracket. Understandably, Egyptians in poorer communities have been outraged over this decision. A study by the Egypt's Information and Decision Support center found that nearly half of all Egyptian households that earn less than 5,000 EGP spend 54% on food per year, while spending on housing was 18%. Since that study inflation has led to an increase in the cost of living.

"I already pay most of my wages in food and rent, I barely have enough left over, the new income tax threatens my livelihood" Says one of the protesters, "We understand that the government needs money, however taxing the poor Egyptians, who can barely afford food, is not the way to go"

However this is not the only reason, alongside the reformed income tax law, labor laws were relaxed giving employers more leeway in hiring and firing employees. The new labor laws attracted outrage from the Egyptian working class who already view themselves in a disadvantage against a corrupt and bureaucratic system.

Further more, the recent change of leadership in Al-Azhar has led to an outrage among conservative Egyptians, who make up most of the poorer communities in Egypt. That is likely due to the fact that the Muslim Brotherhood mostly operate in Egypt's poorer communities, where they provide subsidized healthcare, and education for poorer Egyptians. Which allows them to gain popular support from the poor working class from Egypt.

Overall, the protests don't seem to pose much threat the new government, as they only drew in a couple of thousand protesters, likely due to the fear that previous regimes have instilled against protesting.

Return Statement From North Hellenes Head Council
The shoots fired were mainly in defense of the demonstrators being harassed by a mob, the police weren't taking a side, just protecting a side under attack. North Hellenes will not put down any restrictions beyond the current law, and anyone will be equally punished for breaking the law no matter their beliefs. The Neo-Nazis did not break any laws, in fact it was the protestors who did by harrasing the demonstrators.
