Ok, I'm guessing that 1 and 2 are true purely because they sound more random and 3 sounds like it was made up quickly. Also, it sounds difficult to avoid soup...

3. A wild guess, but through process of elimination 1 seems way too specific to be untrue and 2 totally seems like something you'd do.

I say 3 is false, since the first two are oddly specific, and the third one manages to be both pretty hard to believe and it also seems like it was made up on the spot.

1) I taught myself Toki Pona, and I’m currently making my own first conlang.
2) I pet a cobra at Amer Fort in India (it was tamed, don’t worry)
3) I eat my Brussels Sprouts raw

Edit: Apparently charming snakes is impossible, so then I assume the snake was tamed.

2: is a lie. I had the oportunity to punch the mayor's brother in the face, but I didn't.
1: Grandpa is a maoist

Difinbelk wrote:how broad is your definition of soup? Are stews / pure broths excluded?

3: This is, in fact, sort of subjective, but I never had anything I would call soup. This is just a combination of coincidence and me not wanting to try it after realizing how rare it is that I never had it. My ex boyfriend almost convinced me to do it but we broke up before I had the chance. We didn't break up because of the soup just to clarify.

You mentioned 1) on the rmb before, so it must be true. Eating brussels sprouts sounds like it was made up on the spot, or like something just weird enough to use on a 2 truths 1 lie... hm...
I'll go with number 2): I don't think the snake was charmed.

Aww, a shame. Would have been fun to see the news article: "local nationstatser punches brother of mayor in the face".

2. Look at the fine print everyone. it was charmed. Charming snakes is impossible, they can only be tamed. Even if it was a tamed snake, my point stands. Boom.

Regarding 1, I myself have also made a language called Kisvilo. Im still working out it's pronunciations, but the letters are distinct. Sadly, they cannot be produced on the computer and would probably come up as incomprehensible characters.

How do you know I'm not João Henrique Campos, from the Brazilian Socialist Party? I'm not, but... I could be.
Edit: it would make sense, too, because if I know brothers like I know brothers, I definitely would have punched my younger brother at this point.
I'm starting a conspiracy theory about myself now

Why could they not be produced as a font? Are there too many characters, or do you flow your letters together? Is the writing tradition important to Kisvilo speakers?

I've only personally made codes, where I replace the latin alphabet with new characters and write in English. If I tried to make a conlang that I was proud of, it would become a second job.

Scanian, the fictional language of Middle Barael, also sounds kinda similar to what you are describing. It’s also just applying some rules to change already existing English words, although those rules are pretty complex and phonological based. So often I feel it sounds too similar to English, while at other times I feel it’s too wild and unrealistic for a language.

I am actually planning for this conlang that I’m making to serve as the language of the ancient Native Baraelim, whose civilization died/assimilated off but whose ruins are now starting to be excavated.

Middle Barael wrote:Clearly you haven’t met a Gen Z person, no offense. We’ve all always dreamt of high-speed rial, not only because it is fast and cool but also because it’s environmentally friendly and a feasible alternative to cars and planes.

There was a whole meme about our desire for high-speed rail, and even a Vox article breaking down why it’s so popular. https://www.vox.com/2021/3/10/22303355/gen-z-high-speed-rail-biden-map-meme-buttigieg

As for electric cars vs trains, my view is why not both? Just like we’ll need both renewable energy and nuclear to fight climate change, both a reduction in meat and more sustainable farming practices, so too will we need both electric cars AND public transport if we want to effectively help fight the climate crisis.

When I said no one, I meant America as a collective. Not to mention that I was thinking bullet trains that were meant to replace cars. Your map references trains that are designed to replace planes. Gen Z also hasn't had that long to drive quite honestly. A max of 8 years for the very oldest of the Gen Z population.

If you imagine yourself crammed into daily commute bullet trains like in China vs driving a personal vehicle and don't feel any discomfort I find that hard to believe.

I know, i was so scared that i would never be able to see,
but talking about the recovery process, i'll have to sleep atleast 12 hours a day, and sometimes only 9, which isnt as hard, because i already have to do that because of my migraines, i have to take special medicals, don't get overheated and whatever + if corona allows it, i'll get a insurance-paid 2 week vacation in a spa with a guest/moral asistance,
i'll probably choose some slovakian or polish spa,
czech spas don't have as much of the type i need

Aaaa you can't imagine the excitement I feel right know for having found a fellow toki pona speaker and conlanger in NationStates, and especially, in Forest!
I am more of the auxiliary language branch of conlanging, but minimalist languages also caught my attention for some time a few years ago.

Nobody has been confirmed yet, I believe. I am hoping to be able to at least help out with it, but as of now it is unclaimed.
