Hello Esportiva, your favourite toilet guy here.
The Grearish Union and I have been discussing the prospect of an international T20 cricket cup, for Esportivans only. This will run separately to the East-West Cup, which will remain invitational only.
This has come about due to the two of us realising that, recently, there has been some promising activity in this region and the two of us are willing to help increase it further.
This is only in its very early stages, so not many details have been set out yet. However, if you think you would be interested, just let one of us two know and we'll give you an update soon.

I guess I'm always down even if none of my Esportivan nations fit.

So, there seems to be at least a little bit of interest in this regard. Grear and I have been thinking about it, and our plan is to probably start it after the World Cup is over. We'll make a separate post then about the signup process.
But in the meantime, thanks to those of you who displayed some sort of interest!

(Do bear in mind while that the formation of Anaia has something to do with the timing of this statement, it has nothing to do with the content of it. I've always wanted to broach this topic at some point)

I echo Tumbra here. If someone comes to the Esportiva page and looks at the map, they get the impression that the region is pretty full and might look elsewhere. Now I know that I only own a puppet here, but I've brought up the same in Rushmore.

I can safely say that there has been discussion as of the previous year among the ESC on the purging of some of the nations off the map.
The actual reason of the delays in the current mupdate is I am currently doing the purging as the ESC have come up with a list of nations which can be purged off the map. RL has been one of the factors on why it is not progressing atm.

I will try to complete this and post a mupdate by the end of the month.

I thought the delay was because we couldn't make up our minds exactly which nations should stay and which should go. There was definitely a general willingness to purge some.

I plunked in one of the default banners cos the blank space was really ugly, especially on dark theme. But a custom one would definitely be better.

I wonder when the WGPC will be? Last season was fun.
