Keep in mind you should only pick whichever class your nation is good at.
For example, my nation is good in arms manufacturing, defense, law enforcement, and scientific thingy idk.
So my nation is good at fighting back.
Yes i could also decide to join in curing the zombies because I also have top 10% or 5% in scientific research but that’s boring.

if you don’t wanna join them and decide having a nation is better then stumbling zombies that suspiciously somehow make a nation collapse, then yeah this plan is for ya.
Basically, Half of Covenant Shores is gonna be fighting back, and the other half will be trying to make a cure. Therefore, after a while with said option you had, you will gain a special power from said class you picked. For ex.
If you chose to exterminate zombies, after a while you will gain a power up called “Special zombie cleaning teams” which should be self explanatory. If it isn’t, basically you use that ability to exterminate zombies from other nations.
If you chose to make a cure, then after a while you will i think make an ability that makes your people more likely to survive? i dunno, i didn’t play cure ever.
and if you sadly picked to join the zombies, then well, you earn hordes to send to other nations.
Keep in mind every ability recharges every 5 minutes.
Now, the virus can only spread in Covenant Shores if a nation gets it, so if you don’t really want zombies, close da damn borders, but even if you do i think they’ll naturally spawn but less worse. I dunno.

Never played this before. If you aren't online when it starts what happens? Does your nation get cooked?

Nuthin, once you log into nationstates it will give you 3 options. However if you don’t even look at nationstates for a day there’s a slight chance your nation will get infected

Dawg, I can't be online for at least 10 hours after it starts. Would it tank everything? Like all of my stuff get completely destroyed?

basically yeah, once your last survivor dies you are considered a dead nation and you won’t be able to participate in z-day anymore
however you can still play nationstates normally and you can make a factbook about the last stand of your ppl lol

Am in top 42% for healthcare but my scientific advancement is in the top 80%, so technically I'll be able to give treatment for people but won't be able to find a cure, I don't have to worry too much about everyone turning at one time

I’m in 20s and 30s for both health and scientific advancement, so I’ll probably try to find a cure.
