I've never used MS paint for anything serious, but I'll see what I can do :p

It probably won't follow all the rules, but I'm not intending to make them official, just existing. Maybe once I get good then I'll make sure all the criteria is right

The main rules are that they must have a black outline, eyes must be white circles with a black outline, no pupils, eyes can be red if angry or pinkish if high on weed. No facial features other than the white eyes. No limbs allowed either. They must be spherical/round, can be somewhat blobby/beanbag shaped if they are slumped over or are fat. The exceptions to the round rule are:

Any countryballs of flags with a unique shapes must be in the shape of the flag (ex:Nepal)

IMPORTANT: Circle/line tool is frowned upon

Primarily Jewish nations must be cubes (ex:israel) (idk why)

Chile can be drawn as a long worm thing cus of its shape. (Optional)

Singapore is a triangle

USA almost always has sunglasses, and UK usually has a top hat and or monocle

Poland must be drawn with the flag upside-own (red on top)

Kazakhstan is a rectangle/brick cus its flag has a long aspect ratio making it difficult to fit in a circle.

Asian countries especially China and Japan are often drawn with lines for eyes(optional) (idk if it’s racist or not cus many countryball artists are Asian and still draw line eyes)

Aliens are drawn as green “6” pool balls.

Also if you make “official” countryball comics of irl countries the main place to post them is on r/Polandball. However r/Polandball does have strict rules, some of which I have not mentioned so you might need to go through admin approval process. RN r/Polandball is kinda slowing down in terms of post frequency

i'm asian myself, and i don't consider it as racist since the whole premise of countryballs is based off of stereotypes, like that's why some artists draw the usa as a "fat" ball, that's why the uk has a monocle/tophat

Understandable. Polandball isn’t really considered racist cus it stereotypes everyone equally.

Like this: normally, the white and pink dominant part of the flag is creased (when still) to appear in the forefront. When war is declared/hostility is intended/etc., the flag is creased to display the red dominant side in the forefront. This is what the United States (not United Valleys, we display our flags as vertical banners indoors) does with its presidential seal. The eagle holds an olive branch in one talon and arrows in the other, so they flip it to the arrow side when mad.
