In VegaCorp, the government has become more centralized. That's new.

Reed audio

Most of what the Attorney Gereral does would not be under the Allied government in Read Audio - the Allied government has no "police power".

As for Eric Holder.

He is a criminal - the parden for Mr Rich (years ago) showed that.

As did he (de facto) support for voter intimidation in Philly (the New Black Pather Party stuff) in 2008.

And the (de facto) support for voter fraud (by opposing any measures to oppose it) today.

Indeed he even takes legal action against any State that tries to enforce basic law.

And he victimizes honest people - in order to help criminals.

His latest criminal antics (which should, but sadly most likely will not, earn him time in jail) are all of a piece with his normal conduct.

WARING.

His defence will be "it is because I am black".

He has played that cowardly game before.

You know, you can put those people to work...

In today's news we this story about a father that caught a man molesting his four year old daughter.
**The ambassador drops a wire story on the table: http://www.foxnews.mobi/quickPage.html?page=22995&content=74352290&pageNum=-1 **

That turned out to capital offense for the offender. Right then, right there. The father has not been arrested. In fact, he has not even been near the jail. There are some that feel this was second degree murder. Others think the molester died to quickly.

How would your nation handle this?

The Pirates of Xyanth

To Reed audio:

I have to agree wit you on Holder. There is no excuse for his actions.

The blood ravens

My nation would let the father go because it would fall under justifiable homicide and a crime of passion.

Post self-deleted by Deadlights911.

Deadlights911

My nation would arrest the father.

Nothing justified his action. It was pre-meditated murder.

It wasn't like he was being attacked. He could have called the police.

The blood ravens

So defending his daughter from a pedo did justify it? And he said he was blinded by rage which classifies it as a crime of passion so the max charge is manslaughter

The blood ravens

*Didn't

The Pirates of Xyanth

In Xyanth, once the evidence confirmed the father's story, he would probably be taken to the nearest pub, repeatedly toasted and bought drinks until he had to be carried from the pub.

We completely disagree with Deadlights on both technical and moral grounds. We agree with Blood Ravens that if there were any criminal charge, the maximum would be manslaughter. Technically, the absolute worse charge in any state is second degree murder. There was no premeditation here.

I would have done pretty much the same thing and I'll go one step farther. Being my child is not a requirement. If I catch anyone doing that to any child it will be stopped, right then, right there. The offender will be held for the authorities. If the offender disagrees with that process, whatever happens to that clown is his fault.

Deadlights, the question has to be asked. If this were your daughter or sister being molested, what would you do?

The blood ravens

He said he was trying to incapacitate him but he took it too far.

Look at it this way he saved his daughter years of torment. Instead of having to live knowing he is waiting to get out of jail she knows he is dead and she never has to worry

I would give this man a medal!

The Pirates of Xyanth

To The blood ravens

Or at least a trip to the pub for an all expense paid evening of wine, women and song. We agree on this one.

The Pirates of Xyanth

Good morning fellow heads of state, honored guests, members of the media and high priced hookers,

I want to congratulate the top three most God forsaken nations in the region. Those nations are:
Xyanth
Arizoneia-vesta one
Of alistair

Way to go. The council believes keeping religion out of the business of making laws for an entire nation is always a good thing. With out this strict policy we may find ourselves deprived of wine, song and the company of these lovely ladies joining us today.

This morning we have one more embassy request on the table from a region consisting of one nation, Anarcho Capitalist International. That invitation is now open to discussion.

As there has been no discussion further discussion on previous embassy applications, the council is taking the following actions:

The application from the region of Union Inc is tabled for now. We will see if that region can gather a few more nations in the next 30 days or so.

The Citadel of New Richmond is a growing region of 21 nations. The founder and the WA delegate have administrative control. We accepting their application to exchange embassies.

The The Allied Republics is a large region of 104 nations. There is strength in numbers from both security trading standpoints. The council accepts their proposal to exchange embassies.

In Today's news we are pondering energy issues. There is development of a transcontinental petroleum pipe line from the northern regions to the more populous southern region. Off shore oil development available. And their are unexplored areas with the potential for hundreds of years of oil for the future.

Alas, the well meaning but horribly misguided tree hugging members of Al Gore's Church of Climate Change are fighting each and every one of these proposals. They are even trying to shut down current oil production where ever they can find even the most remotely plausible reason.

How do you nations balance the need for energy against environmental concerns?

If there is no further business this meeting is closed and the bar is now open.

The blood ravens

Who cares about the environment? If we tap that oil we will put of an energy. crisis hundreds of years. Allowing us to develop alternative fuel like hydrogen.

The blood ravens

Well since my nation is already a barren nation I would bulldoze the scenic desert.

Like my puppet Adeptus Machanicus I would bulldoze the rainforest for urainium.

Deadlights911

I'm not supporting the molester. The molester was a horrible man and he should have been stopped.

He's justified for attacking the molester and saving his daughter. But killing him? Hell no.

The father could have restrained him or simply just knock him out. I believe the father was stronger then the molester. The father BEAT the man to death. Something he didn't need to do.

If I was the father I would have attacked the molester but I wouldn't go so far as to beat him to death with my own hands.

I don't believe killing was justified in this situation.

The blood ravens

Lol @ you not reading the article
He was trying to incapacitate him but then he snapped and accidentally killed him

Read the article

The blood ravens

Since he snapped its a crime of passion and appearently that article didn't mention it

The Pirates of Xyanth

To Deadlights911:

You've never been in a knock down, drag out fight, have you?

To Deadlights911:

We do not allow environmental or animal activists to dictate energy policy. There are no impact studies, law suits, etc. About 20 years ago one activist group sued to save an owl's habitat. However in our looser pays all system of law, the people bringing that suit are still working off their debt to the logging companies for legal fees and costs.

However, that said, we do have a restoration policy in place. Once the mining, drilling, pipe burying, etc is finished, the land must be returned to its previous state.

If there is environmental damage, such as a blow out on an off shore rig, our "loser pays all" system of civil courts tends to encourage all parties to settle legitimate damage claims quickly and equitably.

The blood ravens

I do not allow environmental groups or religion to dictate policies. Letting them will screw up your nation.

Deadlights911

Yes I read the article.

Please tell me in the article where it stated that it was an "accident".

Even so, if he DID already restrain him I don't think snapping and then killing him was justified.

Deadlights911

I'm going to bring up a new topic:

Should we clone other humans.

The blood ravens

That guy molested his daughter anyone would be really pissed.

Yes. There is no reason not to. At the very least we should clone organs so there aren't long waiting lists for transplants

Lodricar

@ Deadlights: Think about it: you walk in to an elder man pinning your daughter downs, who's four, and what's your first thought? Take him down and neutralize him as a threat. Second thought? Check your daughter.

In my honest opinion, he was in the right. He saved his daughter, and he put away a rapist. That, to me, is fine. Give him some probation so the general public will see it as fine. Otherwise, sentencing him will ruin America's look more.
