The tabulu islands | Well if you don't make RMB posts in 5 months you get kicked out, we had a giant mess regarding semi-genocidal-esque nations, uh, I'm pretty sure the Sekidean Union is invading a country and repeating the Gulf War '91, and there was a giant LGBT protest wave type thing that happened pretty much internationally

Vultesia | Anteria, can we all give a massive hand/virtual round of applause to Wellsenfaile. Despite being unable to participate on the regional Discord server, they've been one of our most active RMB participants, both in posting IC posts, and OOC in providing a welcome to over a dozen new member nations, detailing both WB and RP guidelines. With a boundless enthusiasm we should all take note of, they've been responsible for making countless new players feel at home here. From myself, and I'm sure, the wider Anterian community, thank you Wellsenfaile. Your dedication to the region has not gone unnoticed or unappreciated. _____________________________________________ Neuewland, Foxomexra, New sebronia, Plattinum, and 11 othersKentalis, Torvon, Halsuntria, Glakhakistania, Kistolia, Gassasinia, Plagyorasia, Flashboom, Wellsenfaile, Isshiki, and Gran rugido
Gran rugido | AT LAST, NEW PRIME MINISTER OF THE NATION IS ELECTED. SÁNCHEZ CORDERO LEAVES THE OFFICE. Fernanda Hernández Alanis has officially become the new Prime Minister of Gran Rugido this Friday, after the formal commission of the nation's president, Matías Torres, thus replacing Elisa Sánchez Cordero, who presented her resignation last Saturday. Hernández Alanis, granddaughter of former President Susete Hernández Niño, stated the following: “I pay tribute to the strength and patience of my predecessor (Sánchez Cordero) and her deep sense of public service, but, despite all her efforts, there are still certain issues with issues to deal with in the nation. It will be my duty, as of April 23, 2021, to analyze and resolve these issues to see a brighter future for us. " Being the granddaughter of the country's president between 1962 and 1970, Fernanda Hernández has been in politics since she entered the LXIII Legislature of the Congress of the Union in 2015. Her plans remain to be seen, but she has reiterated that her assumption will not change the current fight against the Free Gran Rugido. Note written and covered by: Xóchitl Medina. Qui latine | Wine culture in Qui Latine (issue 1): She said, 'Like most other women in this country, I enjoy two things predominantly, those are good food and a loving husband. A few weeks ago, the wineries and bars where I live sell out, my favorite beverage became very hard to acquire.'. 'So what am I to do about it?' questions Corro. The woman looks to her husband and then back to Khaled, 'Well, what if we were to produce some ourselves, what if Sayida set aside some acres to produce wine?'. 'Then that would be a matter between you two, but what are you suggesting I do?' inquired Corro a second time. Alnabil looked firmly into his eyes, 'You contribute, you make it feasible, and it flatters more than he and I alone. We could provide the drink all over Suqai steadily if you gave us the means.'. Khaled nodded in agreement. After the gathering, Corro chose to loan the family four million Ducets, sixteen million Ducets today. The next three years (1953-1956) proved the potency of the family with the culture of Suqai. Wine soon became one of the most favored beverages in Suqai; Even children were allowed to taste the wines with parental permission following a law published in 1963. In the '60s, the wine processed just exceeded three and a half million cubic meters; And in the '70s, the numbers passed 5.6 million cubic meters. Certainly one of the more positive cultural revolutions, as the economy also tripled in Suqai in this period. To the surprise of many in the suburbs and the city proper, a news station even reported that Jalubi tribes had just begun cultivating grapes for wine as well.
The Republic of Gassasinia | Layfet's New Travel Ban - by Edmund Gifasuk Since last year, the Government of Layfet has been determined to make their disapproval for Bakyernian governmental policies clear. Such is understandable - the Bakyernian state has a long way to go before we can consider it a full democracy. To this day, the Bakyernian government maintains a very questionable track-record when it comes to government accountability, human rights and other relevant measures of a free society. However, we must understand that the Bakyernian democracy is in a very nascent state - only established in 1986 - and progress is being made. With authoritarian states the likes of Vultesia and Neuewland amidst the international community, I can't help but question - with all due respect - why the Layfetian Congress has chosen to single out Bakyern with their aggressive foreign policy. Layfet is a country respected the world around for the precedent it established with respect to human rights, co-existence amongst peoples. From the March Revolution of 1870 to our independence in 1948, the Gassasinian people have always looked up to Layfet for inspiration to model our own democracy on. That is why many are astonished by Congress' decision to infringe upon the freedom of movement of persons between Layfet and Bakyern. May we not forget that freedom of movement is just as important a freedom as any other human right? By shuttering off travel between nations you have moderate disagreements with, you merely insulate them to social change and understanding between peoples. It is not constructive to the freedom and social advancement of the people of Bakyern to shutter them off from trade, information and travel. Only through mutual understanding and respect amongst the nations of the world can freedom be realised by the peoples of nations such as Bakyern, Vultesia and Neuewland. The layfetian republic | Executive Minister Hastings vetos Bakyern Travel Ban Bill Yesterday, Congress sent a travel ban bill to the desk of Executive Minister Spencer Hastings. The bill, which pasted in the Senate 52-48 before going to the House and passing 201-124 would have restricted all non-essential travel between Layfet and Bakyern. Meaning that Layfetians will not be able to directly leave for Bakyern from Layfet unless they have family or economic ties to Bakyern and no Bakyern citizen would be able to enter Layfet with much the same restrictions. The bill would have also made changes to the Refugee Act of 2011 allowing Bakyern citizens to claim refugee status due to "militant-policing" Executive Minister Hastings said that she vetoed the bill because "While our government and the Bakyern government have our differences, there is no reason as to why we should impose a travel ban on another democracy when there are more authoritarian states out there we should worry about." EM Hastings said she was influenced after reading several articles from both domestic and foreign newspapers seeing the reaction to Congress' bill. As the bill barley passed the Senate, there is little hope that Congress will overturn her veto. But several congresspersons are gearing up to make a second attempt. "As far as democracies go, Bakyern is the most dangerous of them out there." commented House Representative Maria DeMarco (C-Thentar). Executive Minister Hastings did say that she would not veto an amendment to the Refugee Act of 2011 allowing the change of Bakyern citizens claiming refugee status if it stood on its own stating that "we still have an obligation to the world of being welcoming all who wish escape difficult circumstances." this article first appeared in the Cartwright Post
Medovia | In talking with reporters, the embattled Prime Minister, Simon Pagosov, stated that he seeks a peaceful resolution of the current political crisis in Medovia and that only democratic measures may be taken to resolve it. He reiterated that he and his party still enjoy sizeable support from the Medovian population and that he will not allow blackmailing from the noisy right-wing opposition in the streets. This comes after widespread protests shook the country’s capital. Last night Pagosov ordered police and the National Security Service to begin clearing up streets and bring order back to the capital. Pagosov also warned that any attempts at solving the crisis by force will be thwarted immediately, certain rumors have been circulating that the army’s patience is wearing thin and they may resort to more definite actions against the current government if things do not resolve. The head of the right-wing opposition, Gregor Genoves, who holds deep ties to the Medovian Security Establishment as well as certain Nationalist circles is well respected in the Armed Forces. Genoves has said he will stop at nothing to force Pagosov’s resignation and immediate elections.
The Republic of Fichmanistan | MHP Garrett O'Brien's trial has come to a conclusion at the Fridus Serm on Friday. The former liberal party leader has been found guilty of embezzlement of up to 49,000,000 Samols in public funds and sentenced to nine years in Sideap County Prison. While nine years is the most severe sentence for the embezzlement of public funds, some conservative and CNP MHP's are proposing changing the maximum sentencing for embezzlement because of the sheer amount of funds stolen.
Kiyortza | Kiyortza Enters the Fray No official plans have been released for the invasion of Plagyor-held Vescarium, but it is not unlikely for troops to continue northwards and take control of the Ifarszi provinces after securing the western Iestine provinces. Additional reports on the offensive indicate plans for the construction, expansion, and repair of highways and other critical infrastructure in southwestern Vescarium, likely as to improve supply lines in the short term and potentially better relations with Vescarium in the long term.
Plagyorasia | Csatorna Yields! The last Plagyor forces within the city of Csatorna have announced their surrender after intense urban fighting in recent days. A combination of Bakyernian forces and local insurrectionist militias have seized control of the city through dense house-to-house combat, with the local militias sustaining the entirety of coalition casualties. Now, with control of not only the country's sole port, but also the downstream connection from the Plagas River and the South Canal, the Coalition stands in an extremely favorable position, one the Plagyor state has not yet been capable of recovering from. Revolution in the Southwest! As the Coalition continues to press it's momentum, the Syndicalist Union of Vescarium has launched into the fray. Tens of thousands of militia fighters, from all walks of life, have risen up in the southwestern regions of Plagyorasia. Many are sympathizers and allies of the SUV, while others are merely nationalist patriots fighting to remove the Plagyor tyrants. Regardless of motive, these rebels look to emulate the success of the Choretu and Csatorna revolts, and some of their forces have already begun converging towards Vescarium Vurbaes. As the war continues in favor of the coalition, the growing number of factors at play begins worrying some analysts. The situation after the conflict, they fear, will be an entangled mess, and speculation among experts has deduced that the collapse of the regime may not be the end of hostilities, but only the beginning of a more protracted conflict...

_______________________________________ | 24th, April, 1 - " A Matter Of Honor " |
| This morning when the Unity Resolution was approved by a large majority in the Senate, an argument commenced amongst the representatives. The resolution by it self, states the utmost importance and priority of the total unification of common Isshiki territories and peoples, this as a general idea was nothing but a clarification of the ongoing campaign that rages across all the nation, however; the exact limits and repercussions of the stated "Common Isshiki territories and peoples" is left quite ambiguous. | | While is obvious that the unification of our whole nation previous to this bloody conflict, is hard to determine what are exactly the "common Isshiki territories and peoples". One could argue that this doesn't include the Tuarans, since they are not Isshi, but they also are part of the common Isshiki territories by a large consensus; this kind of problems were found in the heated debate that took place in the Senate. | | A specific matter attracted the popular opinion, the question of the Strimka or better now as Sutorimuka islands, now in control of the foreign nation of Kentalis for more than two hundred years. The island were originally discovered by Tsokeikanese sailors and was inhabitated by the local Sutorimuka, a related culture to ours, to be later occupied and exploited by the large Kentalian colonial empire. Under the new resolution, this land is now theoretically claimed by the Isshiki nation, and when confronted, the majority of the representatives supported the claim stating their good intentions in honoring the almost forgotten brethren on the Sutorimuka islands, and bringing the clans flag once more under the rocky coast. | The original statement of the representative Akie Kishi: "The resolution clearly states the people's objective for the unification of all our ancestral lands [...] keeping our mouths shut about the Sutorimuka is the equivalent of denying the sole purpose of the resolution, what is the future of our nation if we can't defend and honor our people? [...] The people must rally in force and spirit to defend our country, not only from the separatists, but from foreign influence in search for profit." | |
The layfetian republic | Layfet sends company to aid Kiyortza against illegitimate governing body in Vescarium Congress swiftly passed a resolution late this afternoon giving the Executive Minister full confidence in her powers of commander-in-chief of the Layfetian Armed Forces to engage troops in action against the illegitimate governing body in Vescarium known as "Plagyorasia." As the Government of Layfet doesn't recognize the illegitimate body as a sovereign state, no deceleration of war is needed no advisement of Congress, however Executive Minister Spencer Hastings wanted to get Congressional approval before any action was made against the body. EM Hastings and Defense Secretary Rupert Hill reached out to their Kiyortzan counterparts President Yaro Ilhasin to transfer a Layfetian company under their command to help aid in the fight. This expeditionary force of 120 soldiers will head out for Kiyortza in the next few days and then on to Vescarium to join the invasion. "Plagyorasia" is listed as a Terrorist Organization by the Secretary of Foreign Relations. The Travel Advisory Board states that Vescarium is a Level 5 nation (Do Not Travel) this article first appeared in the Tonnes Times, Nordipolica World, Layfet Daily News, and the Cartwright Post
Medovia | Leader of the Medovian National Front, Gregor Genoves As Medovia’s political future remains uncertain with the current unstable situation, Gregor Genoves, sat down with us to give a glimpse into his vision for Medovia as he seeks to unseat the current embattled Prime Minister. Genoves’s composure is calm, and he is unnerved by the potentially explosive situation stating that a leader must be “steady and calm” at all times, attributing the quality from his military service. In his remarks regarding how he sees Medovia’s future, Genoves said that Medovia must serve as a model of stability and conservatism, in being a counterweight to what he sees as a leftist global movement seeking to strip societies of their traditional identities. “We must be firm in who we are, without paying respect to your heritage, we are nothing, we are not worthy to inherit what we inherit,” said Genoves. Genoves said that if his party comes to power, he will reverse many of current PM’s policies and ignite a cultural renaissance to revitalize Medovian society; moreover, he aims to heavily invest in Medovian local industry and make important upgrades to the country’s military. He also will consider possibly changing the political system from Parliamentary to Presidential system of governance. Regarding the Thrismari Union, Genoves stated that his government will be open to develop ties with the union given many of its members surround Medovia, but membership will be a more ‘complicated’ discussion. Current PM, Simon Pagosov, has stated a desire to join the TU, but with the current crisis has shelved any such plans. Genoves at the end stated that while he seeks a peaceful resolution to the current crisis, he also noted that the Medovian people will also not tolerate a PM that is “stuck to his chair” and not comprehending the reality of the dissatisfaction in Medovian society. He relayed confidence that if an election is held, the right-wing Medovian National Front will win an outright majority.
