 The Republic of Nationalist Nigeria | The Blood of a Monarch The Kingdom of Zamorika had been plunged into its darkest chapter following the brutal culmination of relentless warfare and insurgency during the months of May and onward. For months, the RANF led a sweeping insurgency against Zamorikan and ARC (Anti-RANF Coalition) military forces. The conflicts brutal urban engagements left scars not only on the cities but on the souls of those who fought. While ARC forces managed to maintain a semblance of control amid the chaos, the prolonged fighting sapped their strength and supply. The unyielding RANF presence who reportedly actively employed sabotages, bombings and any form of action that could impede or destroy the ARC. Their guerrilla tactics ground down the Zamorikan administration and left their defensive capabilities hanging by a thread as the government fought inwardly as well due to corruption and turmoil leading to slow reactions to RANF attacks which further put pressure against ARC contingents. The decisive blow came with Operation "Blood Walker," a meticulously planned and vicious offensive that pierced deep into the heart of Zamorika's territory and primarily toward the city of Lagos. The ARC's chain of command fractured from immense pressure, and with it crumbled the last hope of Zamorikan sovereignty as the country fell into anarchy as the administration collapsed. King Rashidi III, along with his family, was forced into exile as the monarchy fell. This defeat spelled doom for ARC forces, particularly the Indiaxxx contingents that had served as the backbone of the resistance against RANF forces. Surrounded and outmaneuvered, these forces negotiated a humiliating peace deal to escape the inevitable slaughter as they were completely isolated in extremely hostile territory, ultimately being escorted out by RANF units in a somber display of submission and the mark of the ARC campaign in Zamorika a failure. In the aftermath of the collapse, the search for King Rashidi III and his family became an obsession for the RANF leadership. Their goal was clear: eradicate any lingering claim to power of their newly acquired land and stamp out the last embers of resistance. For months, the royal family managed to evade capture, moving between safehouses and guarded locations, their whereabouts shrouded in secrecy with multiple nations such as At 9:13 p.m., inside an opulent hotel known as the J&J Hotel, known for its ironclad security and guarded by an elite team of mercenaries had disaster strike. Security cameras and surveillance systems went completely dark, an ominous precursor to what would unfold. Bodycam footage from the mercenaries captured their sudden realization that communications had been cut. Before they could regroup, masked assailants, moving with lethal precision and equipped with silenced weapons, descended upon them. The footage depicted a series of swift, silent confrontations, with some mercenaries being taken down through brutal close-quarters combat. One by one, the defenders fell, their cries and calls lost in the suffocating silence as the attackers equipped with night-vision technology outmaneuvered them in the pitch-black corridors. The attackers raced toward Room 111, where King Rashidi III and his family huddled in fear. The door was breached using a Benelli M4 Shotgun causing a thunderous crash as the door was shot open by the hinges. Amid the confusion, one of King Rashidi's daughters broke free and darted towards the hallway, but hope was fleeting; a stifled cry and two gunshots ended her bid for freedom instantly, much to the horror of the family. In the rooms sudden, suffocating quiet, the masked intruders set up recording equipment. It soon became clear that the men belonged to the infamous Group 242, a shadowy paramilitary unit under the direct control and allegiance to the RANF. feared for their merciless efficiency. Moments later, broadcasts across international news networks were hijacked. The world watched, stunned, as a live feed displayed the huddled royal family surrounded by the heavily equipped and masked men, the rooms opulence a stark contrast to the horror that was about to unfold. Dikembe Abara, the RANF leader, spoke with a chilling calm through the broadcast: “Behold the remnants of a dynasty that fed on the blood of the people it claimed to protect. Today, justice finds them, and the echoes of their power die here. Let this be a message to all who stand in the way of our righteous cause” The broadcast cut abruptly, leaving a void of silence that was swiftly filled with dread. Seconds later, a military-clad figure took a picture of the lined up family, after which raising a hand in a signal. The men of Group 242 unleashed a hail of gunfire. The screen erupted in chaos as the royal family was executed in full view of the world. After the deed was done the men quickly poured gasoline around the room and lit the flames as they made their leave. The flames licked the edges of the broadcast before the feed died due to the intense fire that was created. The aftermath saw the entire J&J Hotel burnt and damaged heavily but surprisingly still somewhat standing, no evidence was found of Group 242 beside the heavily burnt dead mercenaries. King Rashidi III and his family were incinerated by the fire as well. OOC: Just to give background for any who are new, the Kingdom of Zamorika was a real player who was destroyed by the RANF after fighting valiantly against them however their inaction and failure to communicate with the ARC destroyed them. Having been granted power by the King in extraordinary circumstances in which the nation was perceived to be at great risk, the King's Most Orderly Secret Service stepped out of line and worked with illegal organisations. They never meant to undermine Argentina's territorial integrity or national security. It is my belief that as two nations on the continent, we have great potential to work as allies, especially with the admission of Argentina into SATO on the horizon. I would also like to ask you to take a moment to understand my position, having only become aware of this when you brought this up on my third day as Prime Minister. I can assure you it was never the Kingdom's intention to violate Argentina's national security. Though an ultimatum is not the path we would have liked to have seen taken, we will respect Argentina's position as a sovereign state.
