The apartment was a safehouse belonging to suspected spy Nikhil Ozhiyil, a Russian irredentist. Ozhiyil was armed, and proceeded to kill 4 police officers, and 1 bystander who was climbing the upper floors. Orders were made to get Ozhiyil alive, but due to the aggressive response, Ozhiyil was shot dead.  The Dominion of Kingdom of Saint Paul | Labour Leadership Challenged by Populists Saint Paul Unabridged by Roy Shettleston Saint Paul has been for almost three weeks now embroiled in a set of coalition talks, with parties scrambling to find an arrangement for continuing the government, amid a general theatre of instability in Pauline politics in recent years. The traditional left-wing behemoth, the Labour Party, has been led into these talks by their leader Anne Hunter and depute leader Mairy Porter, Secretary of the Exterior. Parties must convince other parties that they will agree to a consensus of governance in a coalition, therefore, naturally, unity within them is key. Labour is an almost essential coalition partner, with the second most seats in the General Chaumer and the largest "establishment" party with whom a firewall is not lodged against, unlike the Freedom Party, which has the most seats and is expected to dominate in a snap election should it be called. However, despite these favourable circumstances, the Labour leadership has not enjoyed the unity they might expect, with the party's long silent socially conservative, populist win awakening to challenge the centrist leadership. The populists have acted in full swing today, with a joint statement by 13 representatives, led by Ross Green, calling for fresh leadership elections as "it is clear the current state of matters has failed". It seems that they have acted with quite some preparation, with some prominent names by their side ─ notably former Prime Minister Tom Glengarry, who has been a loose cannon in the party since his surprise defeat in 2005 and who has hinted of returning to power. Many have speculated that this is only a power play by the power hungry Glengarry. While Green and his rebels do not have the support of the party as a whole, the leadership will not be able to crush end the rebels' request, as their strength has been demonstrated. And while some are heralding this as groundbreaking, it is mostly a display of party members' doubts in the centrist leadership whose government under Prime Minister McDowell collapsed (in no small part due to his stroke), a sentiment doubtless shared by many other Labour representatives.
