After a very quick investigation by Eritrean Authorities, the pilot, alleged to be a citizen of the Kingdom of Finland, was declared as the main perpetrator as he and his friend allegedly were going to blow the aircraft into some structure. As of time of writing this resolution, despite international outcry, the alleged pilot was executed. Noting that the aircraft was not intercepted by EAF's aircraft which could have inspected the aircraft. The investigation was done in a short time and despite evidence of the pilot not even flying the aircraft on this particular route was arrested and executed (and allegedly executing some other pilot). The report itself has been questioned on its reliability and it is feared that all passengers and crew on board have perished during the shoot down. Warns that such actions going unnoticed will only further strengthen such actions which are dangerous, reckless and outright immoral. Denounces Eritrea for the shoot down of Flight A147 without following proper procedures and trying to cover up the incident. This is a clear violation of international law and indirectly violates Article 1 clause “e” and “f” of IANS. Hence this resolution demands: 1.Creation of an investigation team, consisting of experts from Saint Paul and Laucano to independently investigate the incident. a.Handing over of all evidence and the crash site to the team b. Allowing the team to take statements of survivors, defense personnel involved and government officials. c. Giving access to sensors and radars tracking the aircraft. 2. The Eritrean Government pays compensation to the victims. 3. Commanders who authorized the shoot down were tried by an international court, consisting of judges from nations whose citizens were killed in the shoot down. 4. Demands shall be met within 48 hours of the resolution being passed and adopted. Failure to met the demands of the resolution within the frame of time shall authorize: 1.Sanctions on Eritrea 2. Refusal to allow airline operators based in Eritrea to access airspace of other nations. 3. Declaration of a No-Fly Zone over the entirety of Eritrea after 96 hours of the deadline for the demands. 4. Naval Blockade of Eritrean ports for all ships except for Humanitarian Aid after 96 hours of the deadline for the demands. 5. The No-Fly Zone and Naval Blockade shall be enforced by entirely volunteer nations who can submit their volunteering request when the resolution passes. a.This Force shall be known as International Peace Enforcement Forces (IPEF) or simply as the ‘Coalition’. b. The matter: The plane crashed due to bombing by the Eritrean Air Force after the pilot refused to respond and communicate with the forces. Indeed, the pilot had enough time to respond and avoid the threat to the state. The A147 plane flew from Maghrebbiya heading towards the Eritra capital city (Khartoum). There were suspicions that the plane was rigged with bombs by terrorists, so the control tower requested that the plane land at the Red Sea Airport. But the pilot did not respond and refused to land. After about 10 minutes, he was actually contacted by the Eritrean civil Aviation Authority and was refused again. The Air Force had to intervene before something terrible happened to the people and the state. Before the bombing, he was given 10 minutes to respond on the radio, but he completely refused to respond. That is why the plane was bombed and destroyed as it threatened Eritrean national security. After searching the plane, some drugs were found. One of the deceased was wearing a bundle of bombs. This person is of an unknown identity and nationality. It is strange that a country would allow a person to leave without his passport or identity card. Why would all this have happened if the correct measures had been taken before the plane took off from Maghrebbiya The pilot : the pilot's name is Mikhail Doni, a pilot of nationality Action 2: Dismiss the Chief of the Air Force and refer him to retirement.
