"The Secretary of the Exterior, upon the advice of the Prime Minister, has selected, following its review as an allied state to the European Union, that Clive MacAdam, former Secretary of the Exterior 2005-2006, will be appointed in official capacity as the Kingdom's Ambassador to the organisation. We hope this will be a stepping stone in securing closer and warmer relations."
