By accepting the fact that there is no objective standard for quality in art. I really cannot stand to hear Whole Lotta Love, but I accept that you have a somewhat different musical esthetic than I do. You probably have never heard Ethnicolor I (by Jean-Michel Jarre), and I admit it is not rock'n'roll by any sane definition of the term, but I think it is simply wonderful. As I say, you've probably never heard it, but I suspect you might not even call it music. More like "what the hell is THAT?" It fits my esthetic, and it probably misses yours. (If you want to hear it, just to experience it, listen to the full 12 minute version from Zoolook, not the abridged version on his greatest hits.)
