Elisa Sánchez Cordero announces her resignation; she will resign on April 23.

The Prime Minister of Gran Rugido, Elisa Sánchez Cordero announced this Saturday that she will resign from her position on April 23 but will remain in office until President Torres announces a new leader, a process that could begin on Monday and with a maximum duration end of the month according to the Constitution.

For some time now, the support for Sánchez Cordero seemed to have lost all authority and control of her part of the government after the attacks in Laurua, and she will finally resign as leader of the Federal Revolutionary Party, opening the process of selecting a successor over whom the weight of governing the nation will fall together with President Matías Torres.

With tears in her eyes and emotion that in the end, she was able to control in a dry way, Cordero addressed the rugidoenses at the gates of the official residence in Laurua and said and thus the GNN quote: "I deeply lament that will not be able to see the result against the guerrillas, but I strongly believe that my actions, although not the best ones have laid the foundations for their eventual defeat […] My children have grown up seeing me in this position, but I have decided that my time with the family is something of importance before I don't have any chance to see their growth. Citizens, I thank you for allowing me to be your Prime Minister ... "

Among the aspiring successors of Elisa Cordero are the Minister of the Interior, Fernanda Hernández Alanis, the former Minister of Labor, Enrique Barrón, the former leader of the Opposition, Nayla Pardo, the Secretary of Health Alberto López, and the Minister of the Interior, Orlando Arvizu.
