Following consultations with legal officials and the executive branch the prison officers have received orders to release Pyle into the custody of the Sacramatian officials. Pyle is told that he is free to go and the guards let him leave in the company of the Immigration agents, a lawyer from the Paleocacherian Attorney General's office boards a flight to take him to Sacramento to see what's going on.

Upon the guards leaving Pyle Mr. Hernandez escorts him to a car and escorts him to another hotel room for his safety. There he then asks him:

"Alright so technically we should be letting you go though you are in the witness protection program so we do have to keep you with us. You have really two options right now, stay in Cordoba or move to another city where you are probably going to be safer and we can keep better watch on you."
