ooc: have you ever considered how nightmarish it would be to try and build the most technologically advanced weapons system in the region while at war? You aren't the US in the '40's as far as I know, and even then, it took America years of theoretical science and resource procurement, both with their own setbacks, to even make a functional nuclear weapon. How you intend to do something even larger in scope while relying on external funds in the middle of a warzone is beyond me.
This isn't even mentioning the fact that very few people would realistically help you, because you'd then have access to a superweapon greater than any nuclear arsenal in the world that can't even be retaliated against effectively. It's opening up the opportunity for an arms race in addition to being an absurdly complicated and expensive technological feat, and no other nation in the world would want to give another nation with questionable loyalties access to a trump card against every threat.
