Succeeding how? There was zero chance of them actually taking control of the government, the most they could have done was literally assassinate congressional leaders and possibly the VP.

It wouldn't have been ANTIFA fighting them, it would have been the US military. You can't hold congress hostage and expect to get a free pass.
